Like, I realize it's flowering, but what's to lose? A bit of IBA powder/gel or aloe?
I believe you are talking about "monster cropping" very effective from some of the info I've read, but also much harder to keep the clones living, id try it just to see if I could pull it off, but as a new grower it might be a bit above skill level. Never know till you try it u guess

I didn't know if he knew the term. Hermie tendencies are the only risk if the plant stresses.

I am growing one clone now. I was growing two, both from my mother GDP, but the one I used a bag for humidity hood built up too much moisture and I found a small web ball and 4 mites eating it, so I pitched it.

When you think about everything the plant has to deal with its kinda crazy that it works, fresh cut, New lights schedule, growing new roots etc.
It is a risk, because I expect it's a 50/50 chance, and even if he does succeed, as I said, the hermie tendencies might mutate the gene pool it will provide. But why waste this much effort now? Clone what you can and revert them under 18/6, 20/4, or 24/7. I used 24 on for now, as next week's end, I'm flipping them to 12/12.

If anything, chalk it up to a learning experience. If the experiment fails, at least you got the most out of it instead of doing all that work to get it there in vain.

Get Bontone or similar cheap rooting gel or powder that contains at least 0.1% indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). Use a razor, put some on the razor, cut a branch containing at least two nodes, but not down to the main stem unless topping and taking cutting from main top. Cut the bottom at 45 degrees, submurge the bottom tip in water immediately. Make up a little pot. Roll the tip cut at the bottom In the bottle until the bottom where you cut and maybe a smidge higher is covered in the powder or gel, put a little of that in the planting hole, stick the cut, covered end in and mold dirt around it. Humidity is good for it, but not too much. I found spider mites beginning in the one I used a bag as a humidity cover for. The gatorade bottle half allowed some to escape and I've been watching for signs of more mites, but none so far. The 4 I saw eating the leaves were all there were.
