Add 2x the amount of water to the size of the pot, do it slowly and make sure all of soil gets saturated. You want it to run out the holes in the bottom of the pot for a few minutes. As to how many times you do that, I'm not sure but I would like to know also so I know when its my time, but answers like the one above aint helpin :p.
If I had to do it and didnt know, Ide probably do it once every day, cus you cant drown the plant if it running out of the bottom of the planter, it should just rinse the soil and keep it wet.

why u say not to flush whats your input on flushing?
It's stupid logic thought up by weed smokers. It does nothing in the real world. Maybe in your head it's making your plants produce more resin or whatever stupid idea people think it does. What you are doing is starving your plants of vital nutrients for two weeks. Contrary to what people seem to believe cannabis doesn't store nutrients for a rainy day in the roots or leaves.

The only only reason to do a "flush" would be to clear out a nutrient lockup. Otherwise don't.

Flushing, especially in soil is dumb. If you have not been over feeding, then flushing makes no sense.

so u must of been growing for a while... ummmm what about flushing with nute water
What's so hard to understand that flushing does nothing? You know what, nevermind do it. Flush to your hearts desire. This is why I really hate helping noobs.

Mr2shim know's his flushing... listen to him brother...

If you do not over nute...

And you dry correct...

and you cure properly...

You will smoke da kine smooth sheiot that will make you happy....

Flushing/stopping the feed of your plant... when it needs it most, when your buds get fatter....

Just doesn't make sense if you just think it through...

cure it correct... a correct cure is the way to go...

I did answer your question. Quite detailed actually, I usually just say something like "you're an idiot if you flush" and leave it at that. What more do you want?

well thanks for the reply and sorry for askin questions. i guess riu aint the place for questions...

Id like to chime in on this with the same question as the poster.

I have a bottle of florakleen sitting here that I was going to use to flush out my plants (in coco) right before harvest. I have read non stop on mixed opinions.

Is there no reason to be doing this? I heard that it removes the synthetic taste in non organic grows. And if that is not true which I could see why it wouldnt be but I can also see how it could be true, please explain to me in your words why it does not do anything.
