This year im plainning on 15 plants outside, ive grown outside before and done good, but this year im growing in a little bit more remote location and im forced to use native soil becuse i cant lug that much soil there. So far ive only bought peat moss, litsa 50g bag, i plan on getting some worm castings, bat guan , perlite and a few bags of topsoil and adding it to alot of the native soil.
I was wondering how much i would need of this stuff, and if i should include anything else you guys have used in the past and had good results.

this is what i would do.make holes the size of a 5 gal pal.in those holes mix half super soil(soil that you have to mix with a light soil to grow)so say if you have a backpack that holds 7 and half gals of super soil that would take care of 3 holes.half native/half super soil.so thats 5 trips and if you carry a 5 gal pal with backpack that would be 3 trips for all 15 holes for your plants

There is a brand of soil called SuperSoil, but he's referring to the home made mix. Look at the forum stickies for the recipe.

buy one of those army surplus bags the big ones like 6500cu inches with two shoulder straps. if the soil in your area sucks buy good stuff it will pay of in the long run.guanos and worm castings are good dont waste your time with top soil its plain crap buy yourself some sunshine mix or pro mix in 3.8 compressed bales they contain vermiculite, perlite.and peatmoss. its considered a soilless mix you add the ferts you want, besides your guano and castings buy some organic liquid ferts you can water them with when you check them. plants will usualy need to be staked in the soiless mixture dig big holes, big holes equall big plants especially if you can start them indoors early. its a major pain in the ass to haul soil but if you put the work into it you will reap great benefits. youll have a better harvest of 5 plants done right rather than 15 done lazy. not saying your lazy but you get what i mean. hauling soil is the worst im not sure how big you are but with one of those big army surplus bags you can haul alot and its very uncomfortable but worth it.
