Myth Buster in Action

MG has a lot of soils, which makes things a bit confusing at times - i believe this is the wood waste product compost with chicken litter compost and some peat moss?

i think it should work fine
my watering schedule will be every 4 days and 2 cps of water i personally like having plant soil more dry then wet reason being it will allow for better uptake of fluids i found that wetter soil slows plant growth in general but with Mg doin this is in hopes i dont activate any more nutrients then needed

ok heres update on my 4 girls transplanting went well plants are all looking good and growing

I think I am going to try the small amount of water with more frequency. I've always been told to water till you get a little run off, so I have been hesitant to try. I would like to not use so much perlite....I think this is the way. Do you ever give your plants a deep soaking or do you always do the same thing?

usually i never water till i see run off if you think about it your flooding your root system how can oxygen get in there but giving them like 2 - 3 cups every 4 to 5 days i found is way better heres a pic from a 3 " clone watering every 5 th day letting soil dry more and in 2 weeks they were goin into flower 16 - 18 " high:mrgreen: the secret is waterting 2 - 3 cups and then putting water on bottom of your potting trays plant ubsorbs that

ok heres some pics the pots with tape on the sides are the MG pots 4 of them i switched the ppp strain out of them reason as i was planting got down to the last they looked rather shitty so instead of useing small ppp clones which i planted to begin with i felt that them being runts i couldnt compare so i took them out and re planted afganistan Kush :))

i have used that stuff drfever...it was ok but retains way too much moisture...add some perlite and save yourself some trouble..but i have faith you will produce some real nice product with that

That is a beautiful set up! You're plants are looking great.. I look forward to seeing more from this post!!

I used some MG organic choice stuff last year, it was different than what you have there. It was in a brown bag and absolute crap, it was more like a bag of mulch with a shovel full of dirt thrown in. By the end of the season it was just a compressed pile of wood shavings. I know now it was the wrong product( how many different types of soil does MG really need to make??). Just beware with what you buy, I've seen some real beautiful plants grown in the stuff with nothing but tap water.

My problem with MG was that the nutes released unevenly. Nothing like seeing chlorosis one day and nute burn the next (this is only a slight exaggeration).
