my warehouse led bud

so i bought a warehouse led 2700k cree led. the light is used for warehouses and gyms. 200 watts over a single plant. grown in roots organic soil. i am stunned at the results. i use cal mag, protekt, foliage pro, and some seaweed. couldnt be any cheaper or easier. i yielded .8 grams per watt and my next round should be even more now that i am use to the light. i kept the plant small because i didnt think it would penetrate the canopy as much as it did. i have been using leds for over 2 years now and wanted to experiment with something that was not marketed to the canna community. it paid off

Grats! Nice cola and light.

Looks like that flood uses Crees, sweet..
and I'm really impressed with the heatsinks on this thing.

How many sq ft was the plant taking up/flood able to cover?

Post more pics if ya got them!
thx

i put this over one plant. i flipped the switch at about 6 inches. it finished at 26 inches tall and about 28 inches wide. i accidently deleted the pic of the whole plant. the plant took up about a 2x2 area. the mistake i made was that i didnt let the plant get taller before i flipped the switch. it deffinately had good canopy penetration. i have used lots of leds in the past. hydrogrow, grow goddess, advanced diamond series, illumitex, hyoui, and black star chromes ( these are my second best ). i paid 338 for this light but it cost 100 to ship. i can honestly say this light for the money blows away any other led i have used. i dont have any fancy light meters but i do have one of those cheap candle light meters and this led put out a third more light then my 1000 watt hps at 6inches away. yes my hps has way more spread but the concentration of this led is intense.

here is a shot of another plant. its a kush variety called painless pete. i vedged it for 2 weeks under flos then chopped it to 7 inches to let it get bushy. i put it under this led at 9 inches on 11/20 and now it stands at 28 inches and still growing.

cbd it produces very little heat or at least it dissipates it very well. you can touch those heat sinks all day long. the reflector stays cool to. if you put your hand directly under the light it does have a bit of heat to it but nothing like hps.

no idea what cree chip it is using. i ordered a 2700k cree with a 60 degree angle. i am no led expert. i took a gamble and ordered it. it paid off.

Thanks for the link. Considering it has all the best cooling elements + well designed parabolic reflector +++, the price is very fair. Should give DIYers pause. Alas, Alibaba pricing is typically based on many pieces

I may have to cut the roof out of my 5ft high tent to make room. Plus, that would put all the heat on the outside of the tent:bigjoint::fire:

My biggest concern is the somewhat limited light spread above the canopy means minimum of 2 for a 2 x 4 tent

Interesting thread. Looks like the cree chip of the 200w is 3020. The chip for the 300w to 500w is the xbd. the chip for the 600w is the OSRAM 5w.

I am interested in price too. Looks like the company has some interesting options.

Looks like prices from here start at 150 and go up to 800

total price was right at 438 with shipping. shipping was a bitch from china. this isnt a small led in a box. i looked back at my invoice and it did use a 3020 cree chip. i did take the glass off the light. i couldnt be happier with this light. for the money it is outproducing some lights i spent over 900 bucks for. my second round will prove its worth if i can get 1 gram per watt.

the reason i went with gielight was because they were one of the few companys that i could order a single unit from and one of the few companys that used a cree chip. several places used bridgelux or crees but had a minimum shipping order. a group buy would save a fortune cause then you can do shipping by ship which is a lot cheaper in bulk.
