nice grow and why is everyone suprised that a girl can grow???
hey is it bad to cut the roots with scissors if they're getting tooo long in their container and what is training????
check out my dwc grow i got 909 master kush.skunk haze and god bud all clones from my local store.
Keep up the good work :P
hey thanks..no its not bad to cut the roots with scissors if they start getting too long..its called root pruning..and training is manipulating the plant to grow in a way that it wouldnt naturally grow

Here for you no matter what.

I keep 10gals in my 12gal coolers, and my girls drink 1 - 1.5 gallons/day during bloom.
holy crap haha...and i thought mine was sucking up a lot of water..when i first started i made sure to take a marker and make a dot inside so i know how much water to put in it..it takes me less time to fill it doing it that way...shes sucking about an inch to 2 inches of water out of her res a day...i make sure to add water in everyday because i would hate to wake up and her not have any water..definitely wouldnt be good haha

alright heres a quick update..really no change with the plant..still sucking up a lot of water...but its still droopy so hopefully after putting more water in her res, she will start perking up..still getting preflowers but its still too early to tell..ill definitely keep everyone updated

heres an update..its growing nicely but extremely droopy..i changed out the water and only put ph'd water in her res..it was ph'd at 6.0 (it normally likes the higher ph) but i think that i might have to lower the ph if it doesnt get any better..there are more preflowers showing and they look like male preflowers..im gonna give it another couple of days to know for sure..but here are some pics..if you could tell me what you think that would be great.

i had the ph before at about 5.5-5.7 and she didnt like it..she liked it more around 6.0..res temps are around 65-68 and the ambient temps are 80-82 lights on and 73-75 lights off..

Well ya shit IS on point mami !
Don't know what the droopy deal is though.
i honestly dont know..we should know by tomorrow if it is a male or female..if its a female then im gonna lower the ph to about 5.5-5.7 to see if she takes to that well and to see if that helps at all

i dont get it either...temps are the same as it has been....same nute solution...lights being moved as needed...ph'd the same...it makes no sense to me at all...this is a very bitchy plant at times...nothing change from a week ago when it was growing perfect...only thing i can guess its problem is..since its getting preflowers its trying to transition from veg to flower phase...and its now wanting the lower ph....thats the only thing i could figure it to be

I grow in soil, so I know it's completely different, but my plants were looking like that, and growing slowly. They had super curly and smaller leaves. I gave em' a stronger nutrient solution and they started perking up immediately. I would try that see if it makes a difference.

shes been growing fast, about 2 inches a day..she was growing very nicely..stayed all perked up for a couple of weeks..now shes all droopy..we should know by tomorrow or the next day if its a definite male or female..if its a male then im chopping it..if its a female then im gonna try doing what i can to make it happy again

it has no sign of def...and its got slight nute burn on the ends of a few leaf tips...i dont see more nutes helping it...probably would do more damage then good

HOW much air bubbles is the stone making? have you cleaned the air stones? it might be that its not getting enough O2. mines had a problem like this and it was that my air stone was clogged so i got a new one and bought a bigger air pump and she was immediately took off

ill answer that for her....the stone is not even a month old...was brand new when it went into this setup....and it was getting a good amount of airflow...its hooked up to a 30 gallon air pump...but now its getting even more air.it was also hooked up to my 3 gallon dwc tote res...which i took out tonight and swapped my plant into a one gallon bucket...my tote had 2 10" airstones in it...so the dual pump had a line ran to one of my stone...and the other line was split between her mini dwc and my other airstone...now the pump just has 2 lines with 2 airstones...so it has a ton more airflow now....thought id answer that for her since i changed everything out like 5 minutes ago...and i know more about that side of it then her....she is still learning as she goes along..but has done a hell of a job with her first grow
