don't forget that toms need calcium to stop blossom end rot, so a little extra calcium is benaficial

I'm all over that. I love growing tomatoes. They get Calmag weekly. Also, end rot is often caused by infrequent watering. Tomatoes need ample water so their roots can pump calcium up to the blossoms.

ever grown black krim sp? , black beefsteak toms, make great sandwichies, there heratige toms i think

I use epsom salt and no problems with blossom end rot. I use it when setting out the plants and occasionally during the long grow season.

I’m growing black krim for the 3rd year in a row. Killer flavor ! Try pineapple tomatoes if you ever get the opportunity.
