LOL @ Kage ... anyways, Alpha do you have any updated pics? Just curious how you cabinet grow is working out. I have a friend growing in a low space like that and it is actually filling out quit nicely - just want a comparison to look at.

I cant believe no one has told him that miracle gro sucks balls and will give shit weed.

Fuck Miracle Gro.

Go to a hydro shop and get some real nutes, go for water applicable so you can control both ph and nutrients in one spot.

Hand watering rule: If you cant detect any moisture within about 2" under the soil, then and only then should you water. Never water if you can detect any moisture.

Other than that, keep the place clean and get sunfilm or mylar.

Also remember that, in my experience, the plants will only grow as tall as the light, if you want them taller move the light away, otherwise dont move it and they will get bushier.

Miracle grow nutes are pretty sketchy but miracle grow moisture control soil is great stuff one of the best really.Has to be moisture control though the other MG soils do blow. I use MG moisture control soil and just plain water for first 45 days then add some bat guano to the top of the pots and then water ontop and let it feed the soil new nutes.Heres some 3 day olds in Miracle grow moisture control soil 3 gallon pots. BlueBerry F1 and some Sweet Purple plants

Nice little plants you got there FilthyFletch... :-P

I Don't have access to a camera atm...

I will post new pics when I can...

I haven't started to use any nutes yet, I'm still looking for an alternative to both miracle-gro soil & their nutes...

I will be going on a hunt tomorrow to see what I can find...

I was thinking About making my own soil mix, but I'm struggling to find what I need locally...

I need pre-mix & worm castings or suitable alternatives... Any suggestions...?

The NPK % values on the miracle-gro nutes I have are N 12, P 4, k 8, a bit off the recommended levels... But not to far off...

So far I have been spraying with rain water, I put my finger in about 2 inches and if dry I spray until all the surface is moist, so far I have had to spray twice daily...

I'm pleased with the results I'm seeing, I have 2 sprouts now, and the first is totally through to the surface now...

Matt emulsion works wonders and reflects a huge amount of ambient light. If you go too harsh with reflectors you can damge the plant by scorching it. Remember the underside of the leaf's not designed to recieve too much light.

Heres some new pics of my babys...

They are now 17 days old...

I have changed my soil and I have still not used any nutrients...

The compost I'm now using is West Advanced Plus, and they seem to love it...

I decided to do 8 seeds it total, however, I lost one as the roots didn't take...

The remaining 7 are coming on strong...

I very pleased with these results, not bad for a first time grow...
