My Setup.

Well I'm a bit stuck for room, so I had to do with the cubboard below my aquarium...

Everthing seems good atm...

I'm monitoring the condition inside...

Not bad for an afternoons work lol...

And it helps that I work in a DIY store, everything I could possiable need right there at work...

But I can't do shit untill I get some seeds...

I have all the stuff ready to go, I'll be using Miracle Gro potting mix, with Miracle Gro all purpose soluble planet food...

I went the organic way also, I'll be trying fish, blood & bone mix...

I'll do one tray on each, see which works the best...

I can't wait to get my seeds so I can start this all off...

I'm after a strong potent White Widow strain...

Let me know what you guys think...

Woot, OMG, I can't believe my luck...

I was just tidying my desk up abit, and lo and behold, 1 super skunk seed under my router...

Woo Hoo, I've started to germinate it... I can't wait to see it grow, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed...

im growing white widow as well......well i will be very soon after this plant im growing right now...... but just go on sites and look around for 10 seeds for white widow but look which one is cheaper or gets there faster

I think you are going to need some more height. Doesnt even look like my clones would it there. I would suggest growing the plant sideways maybe. I have seen a few sideways grows in spaces like this. Good luck

I'm changing the foil as it sucks at reflecting the light...

I bought some Sliver vinyl, I will post another pic when I get it in...

I have similar cubboard, its slimer but about 3 foot high...

Once I have a good strong planet I will move it into there...

I have White widow seeds on their way...

Has anyone got any pic of a sideway setup, I will happily take a look...

Any tips I should know about this strain, so I can be ready...?

I think you have all the tips you need. Widow gets alittle over three feet tall. Single cola gives the best yield. Get more height. VV

mirrors are poor reflectors of usable light. tin foil is not much better. then flat white paint, and closley followed by mylar at whopping 95-97%. do some research before TRYING to SOUND smart.

You are correct on that, that is why in hot countries most houses are painted white...

But for my needs the new vinyl I have installed does a very good job...

Kage your pretty new to growing huh? Mirrors are a very bad choice as they create heat and hot spot similar to magnifying glass and they have a "deep" reflection tendency which doesnt distribute light well. Your best will be Lighting reflective materail then mylar then flat white paint.I suggest you do do some research before you try to correct someone then chasidise them when your not even close to base.

Mirrors are not good dude unless you are using really low powered lighting i.e. fluros and then it probably wouldn't make any odds,if your using any kind of hid they will create hot spots and reflect a lot of heat and poor light that isn't that good for growing,you would be better of painting your room/closet white

i've read that mirrors absorb the heat and make the grow room temp rise too high...

Hey guys wrong place to argue this point...

Fact is mirrors suck and flat white surfaces or Mylar foil, (which happens to be what I bought under another name) are the best choices for the job...

Also I need some advice on growing sideways...

How do I go about training the plant in this fassion...?

I was thinking an old coat hanger bent at the right angle, then I will tie the plant to this early on to avoid damaging the stork...

I hope I've got the right Idea...

This will be a one off grow just so I can get my techniques down...

Once I have some success growing, I will scout a better, larger area to grow in...

I have a friend I'm trying to get on board, he has a massive attic just doing nothing...

I added the ventilation system today, its a small powerfull fan that was intended as a vivarium exhaust...

Its attachted to the back of the cuboard sucking air out, at the other end sits the inlet hole and the 6in fan, air flow is way up even on the low setting...

Now the only issues I have to sort is making the light variable in height (Easy bit of string & hook rigging should do the job)...

And then the Co2 system, Instead of going high tech I will be using carbonated water in a spray bottle, easy...

Since this is just a one off grow I can spend plenlty of time looking after my plant...

As an advance aquarium & vivarium keeper this transfer to growing has been easy and a pleasure to do...

Just waiting on seeds now...

If the Widows I bought turn out good, I will save the rest for my next grow, I'm already considering Northern Light or Ice or both as my next projects...

I just love to smoke that bud...

I also made some fantasic Brownies last night, I'm still wrecked now, And so is my missus and she didn't even know...
