My second all CFL grow

Hello everyone! This is my second CFL grow. I'm in a long ass process of moving so my set up is pretty simple. I currently have 2 105 watt full spectrum cfls on my 2 babies (bag seed). They are both 5 days old. I'm going to get more lights when they get bigger. Comments are much appreciated!

how many lights am i gonna need when they get bigger? i was thinking that since i already have 2 105 watt cfls i dont need much more. maybe 6 23? also, I have 4 42 watt cfls but there 2700k I think. can i use those during veg or should i just save them for flowing?
ANYONE????

cfls are fucking great!! go to google images and type in "cfl marijuana grow". ive seen some crazy shit on there. but ya if you have enough watts you can get an ounce or two off one plant.

oh ya and those are pictures of the same plant. I killed the other one because it wasn't growing

Get rid of the aluminum foil immediately! It creates hot spots on the plant. Opt for mylar instead. I've got two of those 105W going into my next grow so I hope you see good results! You probably won't need too many more bulbs for just one plant, but make sure you have enough to get light to all sides of your baby once she grows up.

its not tin foil i don't think. I got it at the hardware store but i forgot what its called. will it still work?

Oh and as far as hanging your lights sideways, try using those Y-splitters I see sitting on the side. They won't be completely sideways but they'll still have better coverage.

Oh well it just looked like it to me. I don't know if it will work I'm not familiar with it.

How are your temps? Growth seems a bit slow.

They fluctuate a lot. during the day it can get up to 86. is that to high to slow growth?? that really sucks because theres nothing i can really do about the temperature. winters coming though so it should cool down. i want it to be a bush, is it on the right track? im getting more seeds soon so i think ill do a sea of green

Looks heavily watered, read the FAQ at the top it explains a lot of basic stuff.

I would cut back on the watering maybe every two days or so. also make sure you have drainage and check the ph of the water and the soil... putting the lights to the side should move the majority of the heat off the top of the plant. I would put your fan so its directed at the light and the stem if possible you want it to look like its dancing. Im just starting my first cfl using 10 23 watts from wallyworld aka wallmart.. but i have a 150 watt hps for later in its life! I dont understand what people mean by its growth is slow... its only 15 days in... My opinion if it helps great keep reading the faq page and trial and error...

I would also like to say that I recomend a pot with holes placed on a block with a shoe string coming from mid soil or mid pot out the bottom into a water tray... this way the plant gets the amount of water it wants and you dont have to worry about over water.. just change out the water every week or more and watch for the wick getting molded.. worked ten times better for me the last six or seven grows with only one failure...

stick your finger in a inch deep and feel if its damp.

be sure to let it dry before you water again, it makes the roots go look for water...
