hi peeps,

So my plant is gone, gave it away to a friend.

I had her going for 3 months, but she wouldnt flower for some reason.

It was only bag seed sativa, maybe bad genetics, i dont know.

Now that stress has gone i'v just place an order with nivirna, got some fem swiss cheese and white rhino on the way!

I'm really looking forward to this soil grow, different location too.
Going to use a 150w hps and lots of 25w clf's on 2 plants and hopefully get some monster buds going on.

Anyone one esle grown these strains, comments.

peace:weed:

Jorge Cervantes recommends that you give it 36 hours of pure darkness to force it into flowering. After those initial 36, just set it to 12/12 and you should've been set. How long did you wait before getting rid of it?

i had a simular problem, but i knew that i was doing it, i had 2 plants in 12/12 light for about 3 weeks now and no signs of flowering or sex were happening. Problem was that since my indoor box is both the flowering and vegging area, a tiny crack of light was going into the flowering room giving the plants 12 hours of direct light and 12 hours of enough light to not flower but not enough to have wasted 3 weeks on. You probobly have the same problem as all plants flower after u put them in a 12/12 flowering state, make sure there is absolutly no light seeping into your flowering room before u start flowering those nice genetics

Bag seed sativa, vegged for 39 days on 7-7-7 nutes, under 240w 6400 clf's + a few tubes. Swiched to 12/12, 2700 bulbs , 3 weeks later she showed sex, using bloom nutes too.. She hadn't produced a single pistil since and that was 2 months ago.
No light leeks at all.
i even put her in to 10/14 for 3 weeks and still nothing.

What do you think?

Good on you!

I done the 36 hour darkness thing, over 2 months of 12/12.

I waited 2 months

Like i said, no light leeks. Looking forward to getting these going.

bag seed says it all. it probably just needed to be a mature bush before it was ready to flower. bagseeds have some weird genetics

haha...probably just wasn't ready to flower. Trying to grow a "Sativa" under CFL's...good thing you just gave it away. probably all stretched to hell and napped out anyway. Probably needs REAL lights to flower and mature.

WTF you dumbass?
Wasn't ready to flower, like i said, she was 90 days old from seed. she was mature, with alternate nodes pre flowers and all.
It really shows how smart you are comming out with a dumbass comment like that.

240w+ of light is not enough for one plant your tring to say, which is wrong.

see the pic's , not the best i know but the plant is not streched and is healthy.

So, LASERBRN, do both of us a favour and take your dumb comments some where else, If you wouldn't mind.

Yup, napped out stretchy, crappy Sativa. Stressed, looks like it still managed heat stress under your CFL's.

It's not a dumbass comment, WHY would you pick up a Sativa dominant strain to grow under 240w of CFL's? I don't even want to get into this discussion, but that was a complete waste of time. Try picking a more suitable strain for your growing environment. Sativa's grow really tall, CFL's get really weak further than 2" from the plant...hmmm that's dumb. Sativa's flower for a very long time and generally about the 1st 3rd of flowering is the "stretch" period. So say it's a 20 week flowering plant you're looking at 6 weeks of stretchin' out and growing, or about 2 months before it really even begins to very, very slowly flower. And it won't product much in the way of flowers under weak ass CFL's.

Keep the Sativa's under the sun and try more appropriate strains for growing indoors, especially under such minimal light.

And those pictures prove my point perfectly...love it. Napped out crappy looking plants. Good luck on this next one.

and 90 days old from seed....puts that plant right about where it should be. Under weak ass lights it'll take at least 5 weeks before it's showing preflowers and alternating nodes and truely "Ready" to flower. learn about PURE Sativa's and you'll understand why people don't grow them inside, and those that do generally use a ton of light.

yea.... sad to say it, but laserburn is right.. I did the same thing with Juicy fruit (a nice tasty sativa stran). But I had way more lumens over them and they still came out stringy with fluffy buds.. The next set of seeds you have are way better for indoor grows..

PEACE..... :leaf::leaf::leaf:
