I got my own opinion on cops which I won't say here. Just chalk it up to lesson learned. Do what you gotta do - best to swallow your pride and be free man.

Should see the ridiculous fines they have here for cannabis related offences post legalization. Nothing but a cash grab. The Gov doesn't want just a slice of the pie but the whole thing. Don't try and take a bite or you'll get slapped. Hard.

Seemingly, most growers are still staying underground in the black market for those reasons.

Because it's easing up and on its way to complete legalization, they're sensing they're not always going to be able to keep up the racket/extortion over it, so they're cracking down with no mercy. It's horse shite.

It makes me wonder if me or anyone else for that matter is even safe posting here, as per patriot act. If i send a pic of my plant on my phone, do i have to worry about them intercepting it, them triangulating my location and having the cops at my place, then i'm getting fined thousands and doing jail time over NOTHING? I probably shouldn't even have ANY pics in physical existence. But i'm probably just paranoid. I'm worried that i'm paranoid.

FYI - my sister was raped, the perp ended up getting off with a charge of distributing alcohol to a minor. He got LESS of a wrist slapping than i got for making a traffic error and driving stoned. This is something i almost brought up in court but I think it would have infuriated them and been perceived as contempt of court. Shows ya just where their values are at. It has nothing to do with justice.

Exactly what they're doing here. I try to keep it as hush as possible but I have my own moral compass I go by. At least here were allowed to gift our grown herb (which is 99% of the time "illegally grown" due to their ridiculous loop holes). I routinely give away my trim and stuff to those that need it as a way to give back. If I get caught and prosecuted, oh well. At least I feel like I'm in the right.

The bottom line is i don't feel like working 75 hours just because nys wants money. It's to the point that even though it's the law I feel the moral compass here is completely skewed and i'm in my right to come up with that through as lazy means possible, if you're picking up what i'm putting down. That's 75 hours i'm spending not fucking or on the pursuit of fuckage.

It's no tthe sole reason but i can tell you from experience if you're in college and not doing that shit, it's a MISERABLE place to be.
