I grew the church it is an awesome strain. If you are planning on keeping that inside the box for the whole grow you should look into spray painting the inside walls with flat white paint for reflection

Get some Y splitters and add one on each of the sockets. They allow you to add a second bulb in a fixture, so that means you could have the double the bulbs you have now

If you add a small computer fan to the top of the box to suck the heat out than temps won't be a problem. The more light the more bud, you want as much as possible without temp issues.

or what about one 70 watt hps and four 14 watt 6500k cfl

Perfect!!!!! I never thought about that, I used a 70 watt HPS and it worked great. Def do that, just make the ballast remote so that it keeps the heat down a little

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but HPS=more heat.
The nice thing about cfl's is that you can position many lights to ANY place around the plant. This assures you light is getting to the most important area, the buds.

P.S.

I'm not a HPS hater.

HPS does not equal more heat. 200 watts of CFL will put out the same amount of heat as 200 watts of HPS. The reason people tend to think CFL's are cooler is because all there heat is spread out, with an HPS all the heat is coming from one direct point

Thank you for the clarification. I'm still new to the whole world of growing. I love to learn.

That sounds good dude, the plant will be liking the intensity of the HPS along with the 6500°K from the CFL's. A nice balanced spectrum

i wanna get a 70w hps aswell just for 1 plant, but i think it would be too warm to enclose in my small place...
