My Kushberry grow using my new Super Roots Air Pots *AWESOME*

I am on the end of a Kushberry grow, grown with 3 gallon Air Pots. I cannot say enough about the Air Pots. I got the two plants I have from a friend and they were already starting to flower when I got them and they were only about 2 ft. high. They got a little taller but the great thing is: Almost all the arms on this plant are like tops! They are already super thick, sticky, and smell like a flower/citrus combo with a little skunk thrown in. Don't grow kushberry if smell is going to be a problem for you because I have 3 ono jars open and it barely cover it up. It is going to be one of the bigger yields (for the size of plant grown) that I have ever had. I am going to get more out of one of these plants than 2 plants I just pulled that were twice as tall (they were NL and White Widow). Although those plants were 3 weeks into flower when I got them and were in one gallon pots when I received them. So they weren't as bushy as I normally would have plants going into flower.

I had been growing in Cali for 10 years with no problems but then moved to ******. Ever since the move I've had a problem with my leaves yellowing prematurely. I think my soil mix was off somehow and my roots were getting water logged. I tried flushing and using clearex but it didn't really help. ( was using SS4 and perlite, 1/2 and 1/2. Any way with the Air Pots, No premature yellowing! By premature I mean starting to yellow as soon as I put them into flower. These kushberry, by comparison, have very little yellowing and they are about 2 weeks until harvest. They need to be watered every day or two but seem to drink up all the nutes I've been giving them. I switched up my grow medium because the directions said just soil would work. I used straight Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I also use all organic nutes (earth juice), maxicrop and molasses except for a trio of bud blasters. I've been growing for 10 years now and I've never had the yield I'm getting with these airpots. The are a little pricey cuz I had to order them online and shipping was high but it was WELL worth it. I'm never going to grow in anything else. I got 8 small ones for use after clones develop roots and 4-3 gallon sized ones. I'm going to have to find an approx. one to one and a half gallon size so I don't have to use any other kind of pot. I sure wish my local hydro stores sold these. If they have anything like them they have those kind, I think they are called air bags, but I can't remember. The air bags don't look like they would work as good and they look hard to move around. Also the reviews I've read about the bags weren't that favorable. IMHO The funny thing is when you water these, you don't have any water running out the bottom, at least I haven't. I've been watering every other day with about 1/2 gallon per pot. You have to water more slowly with air pots but that's no big deal. I think this way your nutes are absorbed better and you don't have to flush with them. At least I haven't had to. Anyway, if you are thinking of changing up your pots go with Air Pots. You won't be sorry. *And no I don't work for the air pot company or get any kind of kick back on them. I hope this helps you and I wasn't rambling too much but I am so excited about these things

I'm starting a new session in a couple of weeks with Northern Lights and Jack Herer. I'll let you know how I do with those two strains (in the Air Pots) as I get into the grow a bit. I would take and post photo's but I'm a bit paranoid about it so I'm not going to. Enjoy!:weed:

I am growing mixed chocolates in air pots, and am finding the need a little water daily, between the lights and the fans. I over watered once. They were very unhappy- so I topped off the potting mix and tapped the pots to clear the holes. They were very happy with on an hour, so they tend to be forgiving in that aspect. It's time for feeding and I need to administer a little nute mixture daily- these plants are slightly nute sensitive- the tips can get a tad funny, so I water with hygrozyme to try to avoid hot spots.

I like the air pots, it was trial and error using them, but nothing major that could be worked around. :)
