Hi guys. Started a grow indoors two weeks back. Seedlings were under a cfl table lamp for a week and I transferred the plants into a grow box after that. Also planning to plant a few more seeds I have germinated outdoors. What do you think guys? :weed:

Ya. Had a problem with stem being unable to hold the weight. I added a wire to support the plant. But the problem lasted only a few days. It was healthy in no time.

What kind of soil are you using?

Also, put more soil in the one with a lot of stretch. wont need the wire hangers...

I am using potting soil mixed with fertiliser and sand. (Sand because I couldn't find perlite where I live.)
pits been two weeks into veg now. I have 18/6 cycle. How long do you think it would take till u can shift to 12/12. The pics I posted were clicked 5 days ago. I would update with recent pics soon.

basicly after she grows and you count 4 new leave sets not counting the first set of leaves. you can put her in 12/12 but it all depends on how big you want it. if you put it in that early it isnt going to produce much quanity.

You can do 12/12 from the start and get good results. I've done it numerous times. Mostly did 12/12 from seed when i hadn't any room in my veg room.

Planning to get a fan in a few days. The box has two holes at the bottom on two sides and a big hole on top of the box. I also keep the box open for a few hours everyday for ventilation.
And yea. I feel addicted already bongsmilie

I had started all these seeds at the same time but they are growing at a very different speed. I am afraid how it would affect when I move from veg to flower phase.

New photos clicked today. The one in big pot is growing at an enormous speed as compared to the other two.

When do you think that you'll be repotting the smaller one's? I ask because light is not good for the roots they don't like it. So I would either put them into proper pots or cover the clear plastic with duck tape or such likes. Good luck man

I was going to mention the clear cup thing, thanks.^^^^^^^^
You can cover most of that lanky stem with soil when you repot (ASAP I hope), but a fan moving air will help strengthen the stem, and moving the lighting closer will prevent more of it.
**It's "duct" tape LOL, but somewhere I did get a good laugh, maybe Harbor Freight or something when I did actually see "Duck" tape.
QUACK!

Ask for Duck Tape and get a roll of Duck brand duct tape! For real.

I prefer Gorilla Tape. It lasts forever. Comes black, works great. Good luck tearing it - use scissors or box knife. My 5-gallon DWC units are completely covered with it including (especially) the lids.

Ok guys. I need your help. I transplanted another seedling to a bigger pot about 10 minutes back. But while moving it, the soil disintegrated and it fell flat. I picked it up ( naked plant with all roots visible ) and put it in the big pot and covered with soil. Do you think it will die? What should I do in order to make it survive?

thats normal mate, the cotyledons die after the plants grows its first set of leaves. Sometime they last longer but its normal dnt worry
