My humidity wont go up.

Ive tried everything I have no humidity in my flowering tent I tried mist my plants the humidity will go up to about 30 then drop back to 0. I even tried leaving a bucket of water in there, Im in my 6 week of flowering. Anybody got any advice?

Yeah - get a new hygrometer, one that is accurate. I live in a "Semi-desert" area, in the "Inland Empire" of Southern California (more or less, between Riverside and Palm Springs). Our climate is usually pretty dry, the relative humidity normally hangs at around 20% or (quite a bit) less. I have seen it get down to the "lower single digits" - but never zero!

Try to incorporate some type of "Swamp Cooler" into your system. It's a "Win-win-win Situation":
1. The "thing" is designed to work on the principle of evaporating water, thereby raising the humidity.
2. The lower the "ambiant" humidity - the more efficiently the thing works, providing lots of cooling power to your fresh air intake.
3. The basic replacement parts are pretty cheap and readily available in areas with low humidity.

Making something that will work is simpler than it sounds. Just Google "Swamp Coolers" and spend an hour or two reading up.

Cool imma try that swamp cooler. Any other advice.

get a metal bucket with a wide base, like a metal garbage can top. the water will evaporate easyer off that

Buy a humidifier if you can afford one & a hygrometer to monitor the humidity etc

you could try a pump hooked up onto a mist line ran by a timer (just thinking outloud i have the reverse problem you want the run off from my dehumidifiers haha)

I have a hygrometer thats how I know my humidity is low. I guess I will just get a humidifier.

What kind of light are you using? If you are using one of those lights that has the glass shield then try using one of those foggers. I was just watching on youtube how this buy built a fogger for his plants. I would imagine that this would definitely raise the humidity in your grow room because of all the warm mist in the air.

I bought a humidifier but the max it got up to was 38% I misted my plants and it got up to 43% But once the mist dry it goes back down to 36-38% is this a good humidity level?
