The ROOM
Ok I will re-write this and make it a bit easier to walk through. I have had my bowl, my coffee, fondled my girls.... ahhh reay
So this all started as things do with me... "I can do this better". The local poor quality, lack of consistency and general swagginess of most I get finally got to me. SOMEONE local grows Jack Flash, my one guy has the line on these buds, they are out of this world, TOTALLY local as the buds look like they have been carried in individual cases
Well one day we get a call "Well I have this bud, but it may have a few seed in...." "YES I WILL TAKE IT". Get home and wow, I am guessing he was getting a batch of seeds ready for winter or something and sold some of the seeded bud. The seeds are perfect, and the plants are mint. So I decided to get the ball rolling.
Made a purchase, General Hydroponics Rainforest 36. Comes complete with everything but the seeds basically. Germed four Jack Flash and two bagseeds, planted them in Oasis cubes and then Hydroton. Plants were placed under three 65w CFL's. I was using the GH Flora nutes, plants looked good. I then built a 2x2x4 box for the pot. Was this way for a few days then I cam across a killer deal. $50 for a 400/250 mh/hps light in reflector. I rebuilt the cab to 2x4x4, installed a fan, piped it out. I also put the plants in an Ebb/Flow system. Once I killed the HPS light and took the heat down (only MH) the plants exloded... from then on it was party time.
Well I cloned all six plants to sex them, however, before they did much all the plants showed sex! Killed the dudes, and kept them in veg. I then decided to lose the cab and order a 600w digital super HPS in an aircooled reflector. Set this up and transfered plants to a drip/dwc setup and kept ebb/flow table out. I also setup a small veg area. Things did great for a while, then I decided I needed a nice veg area...
Threw my old hut together but actually squared it up this time. Lined some of it, added a fan setup to pull over light, installed door, and even put it on casters! . This gives me a rolling veg chamber that is 2x4x4.
That is how I evolved from a Rainforest 36 to well.... this!
