my first plant

hey dude i just found this thread. my plant looks just like your it is the first day of 12/12 today . i vegged it for 18 full days. topped it at 16 days. so now its got 3 tops!!! im eager to see how you do. what is your lighting like?

i just started 12/12 today too! i dont kno if i should top or lst?? and im using 5 cfl 4 red spec and one blue i have a 2nd plant in ther that is realy small and another one that is about to sprout so its going to start on 12/12 i guess since im using cfl the growth is alot slower we will see how it goes shoot some pics of your plant my way id love to see it and thanks for stopin by

UPDATE: they are doing great hopeing for females, im starting a new seed on 12/12 since i just switch the times and since its my first time and its all bag seeds witch i have been collecting for a long time so i have a lot for trial bases, and just to experiment with till i have a better place to grow,
big plant= is over a month old forgot exact date lets just say she is a month and one week. started 12/12 today.
2ndplant= is 18 days old and also will be going into 12/12 due to lack of another grow box and im doing this just incase big one turns out male,
new seed. germinated and planted lastnight also, and will also start on 12/12
i used 2 cameras becuz the first cam made the plant look realy yello witch she is not so enjoy.

small compact plants...i like it...very healthy looking. those are some fatty stems!

yeah im proud of the stems had a fan on it since it sprouted a month ago

dudeyou shoulda topped yours i did mine 4 days ago and its grow al the way back already! youre not supposed to top during 12/12 i know that much. it is so freakin weird i also have a 2 day old seedling under 12/12 and im using 3 42w 2700k cfls 2 26w 3500k and 2 23w 5500k.

plant loves it and started to get some real pink hues in the stem when i started the full spectrum. good luck bro i really hope we get sick herbs. i need to get a camera and post shit for you to see! we can compare harvests and techniques for next grow!

yes brother ill pray for the both of us, how many plants do you have in total? i have 3 with the seedling, witch has broke threw the soil today!!! and mine are all bag seed but this new one was one of the best bud i had in a long time and in the 0z i got ther was only 1 seed!! just 1 annd now its growing muahahaha. oh annd yeah ima try lst so we can compare tech.

sure dose even my dog thought so i put it close to his nose so he can get a little smell and he wanted to take a bite lol

i have 2 girls in total both bag seed one from regs (seedling) one from some chemdawg (supposedly) indica dominant chrinic. huge broad dark leaves. i tried to lst it but i topped it in the same time and didnt want to stress it out too much. im lsting the seedling though! i might buy a 400watt hps this week and flower with that for the rest of the time.

oh man with that hps your going to do way better than me for sure lol, i was thinking of just getting a 150w cool tube but do you think it be worth it?

from what ive heard man its not worth it lumen vs energy consumption wise. ive heard the most difinitive move you can make towards better lighting is 250watt or higher rather than cfls. but hey who knows. do what you think is best. the 400watt im getting is freakin 120 bucks man ....cant go wrong there. htg supply bro.

Ive seen CFLs do the job and that they will, but the amount of light to the amount of heat sucks, i think its there spiral desgin makes for alot of light hiting light wich makes lots of heat.
OH also look into T5s, its what im useing now and so far there makeing my buds plump, not as dense as id hope but not bad at all.

ok so i learned that 400watts is gonna be way too hot for the amount of space i have so i got a 150 coming instead. stoked to see how fast this baby grows.

yea see bro thats the same reasons why i was looking into a 150w haha we are going to have the same grow lol, how much is the 150 w your looking into/? is ther a 250w? but i want a cool tube.

ok so 4th day of 12/12 but this morning i thought some people were going to come in and install a new window in my room and i wasint going to be home so i hid my plants in the kitchen cupboard and i didnt get back home till like 7pm so they got like 19 hours of dark , was that bad or do i not have to worry about it too much?? and guess what?? window wasint even installed!!! but wen i came back plants were fine so we will see, maybe it will make them show me thier vajay jays sooner idk.

Having it dark during the time it is supposed to be light is much better than it being light when it is supposed to be dark. So don't change their schedule just give them 5 hours of light and go back to 12/12.

yea hes right itll be ok. i freaked out cause my babe got some faint faint light from ma computer on it when it was sleeping but it did nothing. lol
i think i got a ph issue. too high prolly. im gonna start watering with a drop of vinegar lol.
shes healthy and smelly she woke up at 7 am today to start day 4!
my other baby is being lsted and it looks 3 inches tall and has 2 sets of fan leaves.

my 150 hps with ballast reflector and bulb was 89 dollars from htg supply
i have no idea about cool tubes i plan to build an open top grow box so i dont have to worry about the heat too much.

oh man open grow box what about the smell? and 89 bucks dont sound to bad
