these are pics of the water farm i got sometime ago and are now just getting around to use it. i already got some tomato's to sprout and two mj's growing. this is the first time growing hydro. any inside info would be very nice. thanks and

How often running the drip? They look waterlogged.

1/2 hour on 1 hour off with 24hour light. in the pis i just turn everything on and set everything up.

The rockwool cubes look way too wet.

I am using 1in rockwool cubes and they will dry up in under 6 hours if they are just left alone. If you are using 1in rockwool underneath a 150W HPS then i would recommend watering for 15minutes on and then leave it off for 2-4 hours

ok i re-set the timer to 1/2hr on and 2 1/2hr off.they are under 4 2ft flouresent lights 6000k/5500k 24/7. after 24hr the tomato plant look water loged but the pot plant looks like it grew.

even those times are to long. so now it's set to 4 time a day. 1/2hr and 5 1/2hr off

be carefull with the water farms, especcially if you are using the master control resevoir to feed the individual containers/farms.
The master resevoir will have your nutes and ph set just perfect, but he individual farms will pull out mostly water and leave the nutes in there and as the master controll resevoir keeps adding to the containers as the water goes down in each individual farm, it doesnt mean that you are putting in your perfect premixed and calibrated solution.
Check your individual farms everyday to make sure your ph and ppm are correct.
I learned this the hard way on my first grow with them. My ppm was set at 1200 in the master resevoir and the individual farms were way way higher (over 3000)..

no i just got one of them. i move them into the middle be cause it still looked like they were too wet even after i change the time. now it comes on every 6hr on runs for 1/2hr. thanksand

well it's been about 2 weeks and the bean plant is growing great had to adjust timer to 8 times a day but all is good. i'll get pic's later. thanks
