Your light is far for your seedlings to reach! they are stretching and this is not the best. I suggest you read the thread about Transplanting Long Stems, it should be on top of this sub forum. Put the light closer to them. About 3 inches. Cheers
thanks ill try it im also thinking about using a weaker light for since it looks like the leaves are burnt a little

what light are you using? Want a cheap alternative? 2 23w 100w equivalent (when buying bulbs always ignore the equivalent, what they advertise is bullshit for our purposes) Compact Fluorescent Bulbs Daylight spectrum. That should get you started. Cheers and no worries, as long as you are willing to do it, you can keep trying. Soon enough youll be smoking/vaping/eating your own stuff.

@SLA I don't mean to be nasty or anything like that, but for bitta jesus can't you open up your own thread instead of hijacking mine? Now, it will be hard for me to filter answers, the thread is gonna get huge, readers might confuse between the two grows...

Anyway, update:

So far 6 out of 9 THC Bombs have opened. They seem to be very slow seeds, well I haven't grown for years and that was all outdoor back then. I put the sprouts in the soil about two days ago, and still nothing has risen. I am getting paranoid now and impatient :D

I'm sprouting some Sensi Kush as well as a backup plan.

Average temp in the room is around 20 degrees C. I have the HID light on 18/6; I know I don't need to, but it keeps the room warm. How come it's 2 days in the soil and still nothing, note: the sprouts were small when I put them in the small, the seed just opened and tiny little sprout showing up, I know I could have waited loneger, but I thought it'd be the same result. Have I made a mistake?

Here are some pics. Note that the pots are not in their final setup, and of course the light has adjustable height. I know you will give out to me for having the plastic in black , but I intended to get white, but just couldn't get, and I got this one for free, I know it will absorb some of the lumens. The light is 600W MH, I have a 600W HPS on stand by.

P.S. sorry for whiting out some stuff, but just to hide some of the rooms straits, better safe than sorry.View attachment 2900716View attachment 2900717View attachment 2900718
better be safe than sorry then. So the vent you are showing me is taking in the air in or out? Looking nice man! Will you be reading temperature? Where are the fans set up?. Looking nice! You have enough room to make some good shit so keep it up and you should be rewarded kindly! :weed:

Well maybe you put the seed the wrong way and she is taking a little longer to come up because she needs to turn all the way down to grow the root properly. Give them time we are still in a dont worry window of time if that makes sense. The soil should be kept moist not wet. Have faith in them! Sometimes they are a little shy and take their time to come out.

I made sure I put them root down. But you are right, it's too early. I have faith in my babies :D

Babies starting to be visible in the soil :).,,,Anyway, I have a question about run-offs. What should the run-off be? I measured my water at 7.0 pH, I even stuck the pen in the soil mix (not sure if it's made for that) and it reads around 6.5, yet my run-off is 5.7?? Confused.com

Don't stick a ph pen into your soil, you will fuck up the probe!

Make sure it is working. That runoff figure seems odd, or impossible. I am nor an expert but water at 7 and soil anything near that shouldn't make5.7.

Thanks. Maybe the soil measurement wasn't correct since it isn't made for soil. The water going in was deffo 7 according to the pen, and the runoff was at around 5.8. I will keep an eye on this.

UPDATE: Most of my babies showed up today :D. Can you please tell me if my light is too close or too far (600W MH)? Thanks everyone.

UPDATE ON PH: I measured my water today and it was 7.2. Took a measurement of run-off and it was 6.2. I have not checked the calibration of the meter (it's new, 2 weeks, and used only several times), I'll be getting reference solution very soon, however.

Should I bring down my water ph, should I leave it, is the run-off ok?

Thanks everybody.

Yes, it's extractor. I don't have an intake, but there are slits around the door, and I open the door several times a day as well. I have one oscilating fan on the side. I have two pc fans in the ducting, but I am going to up them soon I'd say, as the room is 550 cubic feet; however, the temps are nice and steady, 23.4 degrees C, so I mightn't have to. Thanks for your encouragement.

Make sure the wind is not too hard on the seedlings. I would not put the fans directly to them for at least a week and a half. Cheers!
