My First Grow!

She's gotten even bigger after last night. When I compare Scott's soil to miracle grows it is so obvious Scott's soil holds water the best. I usually have to water Scott's once every 3-4 days, miracle grow every 2-3 days. Sometimes even 1.

The second seed I planted hasn't popped out yet but when I moved some of the heavier chips out of the way I saw the little girls head. Which means in 1-2 days she'll be out of the ground! I've also been having cold weather lately so they LOVE IT. The highest it gets is like 82 with 18 hours on. If it can stay like this I'll be adding a few more cfls soon.

It's looking like I might add 1 more 23 watt CFL's on the right and left, every day but Wednesday and Thursday is suppose to be low 80's.(That's the high)

REP FOR STOPPING IN

Seeing as it's an auto flower and the soil I planted in has VERY low nutrients shouldn't I begin giving nutes to her @ 2 weeks old? I plan on using 20-20-20 miracle grow nutrients. Tips? When should I give her the nutes? Any recommendations? Concerns? Please?

I have the intake fan and the black one blowing on my biggest plant as you can see, this should create a nice strong stem right?

I've heard there is a difference from "nutes" and "food" the 20-20-20 I would be giving her is called MG plant food or something. So is it okay to add this now?

i like your grow box it looks really clean and has good lighting. my only advice right now is to be careful with your nutes, maybe even get some new ones after researching. and im not sure what the difference between food and nutes is, but i think nutes contain the major things plants need to grow and plant food is just beneficial.

I've just begun PH'ing my water, I got it to about 6.4-6.5 I'll be raising it tomorrow a bit more. Hoping for a solid 6.8, this should be amazing considering there use to 7.5+ (I tested the water). She looks AMAZING after a watering session of ph'd water. She looks so green and she's recovered well after the fan gave her some work... Pictures up soon!

I was going to top dress it on Saturday but I checked on them and my youngest and main have fallen victim to the heat. They are literally sticking as straight up as possible... I'm begging that the temperature's drop or I'll have to quickly set-up a mini-hold over grow box in the basement.

She looks wonderful again. I'm thinking she can take the heat, it was just the EXTRA HEAT + lack of water. I'll just start watering her EVERY really hot day. I'll be top dressing tomorrow. I'm hoping to switch to a gallon pot soon (does this sound like enough?) anyway how much dried blood 12-0-0 do you recommend? I no longer have the box it came in so I'll either have to get tips or info from you guys or google....

The pot is VERY big... if I filled the soil up all the way the plant could probably only grow to a max of 1 foot. Should I do this or should I only fill the soil up maybe 3/4 of the way. I need you guys to voice your opinion, I'll have pictures up for comparison shortly. Thanks everyone! Also, I am going to try to go grab some different nutes to better fit my needs. I'll look for something around the ratio veg:2:1:1 and flower:1:2:2.

Foolishly transplanted her to the new container. About 6 roots were sliced, I feel like a father that just abused his kids..... Hopefully she will recover, only time will tell. I have heard of people fucking up a lot worse and they're babies being okay, hopefully mine will.

I replaced 4, 23 watt 6500k daylight CFL's with 3, 42 watt 2700k Soft White CFL's. She is already starting to branch out and the leaves have stopped being droopy from the rained on soil. I'll give her some nutes her next watering. COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT SIZE POT THEY THINK I TRANSPLANTED HER INTO?

beautiful plant :D.. it should start to grow like crazy soon. I have my big female in a 7"x7"x5" pot and it grew to 3 feet had to top and kinda hst it, u do not need a much larger pot than that. i am no pro though. Your plant is looking really nice, looks like indica, lucky u.

same with my thread no one seems to give a crap but its ok :DD, its nice to have a place to keep track and logs for a grow.(https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/433778-first-time-cfl-check-out-3.html) Im always on here, ill keep checking in with ur grow, looks like ur doing a great job, if theres anything i can help u with ill try my best. Keep up the good work ;p

Edit:
Reading Bck - Yes, use mostly 2700k for flowering they have the red spectrum u need in order to get juicy buds with cfls.
