My First Grow with cfl's

Hey Doc,

I find your enthusiasm rather amusing. You sound like me a couple of months ago. I'm still flowering the only female that I got out of my bagseed. 3 months old now. Just wait until your first fuckup. It'll happen, but the plant is resiliant, my friend.

That's cool im probably not gunna grow mine for three months but who knows, anything could happen at this point.
 
So the plant's are now 10 inches away from the lights and i also took out the 2700K lights leaving just the 6500K and 5000K lights, so they should stretch now...Hopefully anyways.
 
Really not interested in those little "budsicles" I was talking about earlier huh ?? lol

I'm very curious to see how this goes for you man ? So far for me (if you haven't read lately) Raising my lights only 2 - 3 inches helped BUT now that I'm in flowering they're growing almost an inch up and out a day.. I figure if it takes even ALMOST 2 weeks to show for sure sex thats like 14+ inches the plant could grow man.. Believe me I know how your feeling, we're in the same boat.. but I'm definitely feeling optimistic about how helpful flowering is going to be !!

Man i am jealous i wish mine were growing at that rate. Im pretty set on flowering this sunday, so well see how that goes.
 
Man youre going to have fun now, when you start the flowering!! Everyday, will be much different, with more and more bud sites popping up!! Its great man, good luck and let the fun begin!

True! Flowering seems more intesive but way more rewarding! Just ended my first cycle, fun time.

So not only did i take out the 2700K CFL's i made a huge change to the setup. Check it out.

As you can see with the same amount of lights (i have no other lights in this room) the added emergency blanket surface significantly increases the light in my grow area. Also im switching to 18/6 tonight until sunday then it's 12/12. I can't wait to see what happens.

Yup i have a hunch the 2700K bulbs are the reason it was so compact... Now with only the 6500K and 5000K bulbs are left. So we will see if the bitches get taller.

btw i find myself drastically changing my setup for better light consumption all the time so much so i find it amusing lol:bigjoint:
