My First Grow with cfl's

Man either this plant is growing very shitty or im really stoned! bongsmilie Man this weed has me melted to my chair. Im take pic's tomorrow when im not cloud 9.
 
what about when they get bigger, are you planning on SOG?
maybe when they do get out of hand build a pvc track that runs outside the perimerter of the box and clip the lights on there?

Naw im probably going to LST when they get about 6-8 inches. And then immediatly switch to 12/12. If they get out of hand i can just clip the lights to the bar you normally hang clothes from, since it is a closet.

Looking awesome doc, the rubbermaid is a cool idea for clipping on the lights.. only work till a certain height but then like u said the closet bar is a good place.. and I"m sure your handy enough to build a shelf if need be and use the edge of the shelf to hand them off?? lol, thinking out loud for ya !!

Yeah that's what i was probably gunna do, i can't think of anything better, but judging by the first 20 days i don't think their going to get that big anyways. I could be wrong.
 
That's good news on the smell, just means everything's going along as planned and growing well !!! Mine don't have much of a typical marijuana smell, its more of a almost citrus type smell, they also definatly smell "green" ya know like the fresh spring growth in a forest kinda smell. Its actually quite nice !!

Looking awesome Doc, Heres to hoping they have a explosive last week of veg !! However I know that once they hit flower they'll do the growing you and myself previously was hoping for/expecting. I'm on day 1 of 12/12 and my plants have made atleast an inch upwards movement.. Can't wait to see yours do the same man.

Yeah i hope they do the same too. I am so anxious to flower the plant but it will pay off vegging it longer.
 
So guys i got a new project. This guy over in the next thread thinks CRI don't matter when you deal with CFL's. He claim's doesn't matter because HPS lights only have CRI of 22-25 but give me a CFL that emits 120,000 lumens and i won't give two shits about the CRI either. Anyways we are going to find out. My plants are 7 days away from flowering. Im going to take two clones from the SAME plant, put each clone under the same watt bulb but one with a higher CRI (color rendering index) than the other. The only thing that will fuck this experiment up is if the plant hermies or males and then i won't be able to compare buds. Let's pray that doesn't happen. BUT i have feminized seeds en route as we speak so it doesn't matter im doing this experiment.
