My first grow. PICS!

Grow man is totally right. 1 plant will be more dominate than the other. The more dominate will suck all the nutes dry leaving the other one stunted in growth and struggling for survival.

I noticed your using 2700k soft whites for veg, this will work, but if you want faster maximimun growth use 6500k daylight. The way you put the lights over the cups is perfect. What is not perfect is the clear cups. The roots will definitly root and fugus will begin to grow, I suggest covering them with tape or aluminum foil.


Also, mylar is very expensive. I suggest going to wal-mart and buying some emergency blackets ($2.00 each) works just as good as mylar and only for 1/20th of the price.

i knwo the clear cups are bad. about a week ago i wrapped them in tape, up to the soil line. i didnt wrap the WHOLE cup so everybody thinks they are stil clear.lol.

but anyway, thanks for the suggestions. i will DEF be pcking up some of those blankets.

and if i buy a 6500k bulb, should i get tube cfls or the spiral ones? does it matter/

go to walmart and get emergency blankets you get a better bang for you buck, and not every dollar store or walmart sells silver gift wrap, but almost all sporting stores walmart target sell emergency blankets.

ok so i pretty much started over. i still have one of my original plants but the rest are new. the new plants are almost a week old. one two of them have actually sprouted from the dirt. the others are taking longer than usual? i made a new box and set my lights up better. it got to hot in my last box and my plants died.=[ so hopefull this will go better

bro lights need to be closer and you need to run a fan to support later bud production. if you keep the lights to far your going to get a crazy strech going on.

i have a fan on them. u just cant see it in the pics because i moved it so i could take the pics. ill move the lights tonight. thanks for the input

i think im gunna buy some lowryder seeds for my next grow. seams like they would be WAY easier to hide.

okay take a look at this pics of one of my plants.

the leaves are all pointed up, like its reaching for the light, but i have my cfls postioned like 3 inches from the plant, so i dont think its stretching. also, today i noticed that some of the leaves are becoming brittle, like they are drying out or something? what could be causing this?

Yes, I would also say heat stress, although your using cfls??? Do you have a fan running, also what is the humidity level in your grow are????

These are major issues that need to addressed, before your problem id diagnosed.....

yeah it is def heat stress bc my box gets very hot because i have to cover it with a blanket so my dad wont see the light in my closet. i have a big fan but it cant do its job if its covered up. how can i keap light from getting out, but still have good air flow?

You need to air it out for sure, also You shouldn't be growing if your parents don't know. Eventually your plants going to wreak like weed and for sure you"ll get caught.

You need to find a way to let fresh air in all the time 24/7

so i wont have to worry abot my parents finding it. my dad knows i smoke weed. but he doesnt know i grow it. i honestly dont think he would care that much.

okay so i made ANOTHER new grow box. this is like my fourth one for this grow. hahaha.

ive got better ventalation now so my plants arnt fucked up anymore.

Wow bro, your already trying to flower those babies???? Did you tape the cups up, so light won't reach the roots???

If you flower them now, you know your yield will be very low, maybe 1-3 grams per plant.....
