Bushy smells like a lemon skunk while the other 2 cindy 99 plants smell like straight lemon pledge.
Legend smells like dirt, maybe? its really close to odorless. rubbing the stem smells nice and skunky but not the buds definitely different.

Leaves are still continuing to fall off(i am not helping them fall off) where the light is not able to reach,
bud sites are nice and strong, so that tells me its getting rid of big fan leaves
in order to get light to the bud sites. it is almost bare with a bunch of tiny bud sites trying to do their thing.
its still a mess to look at.

QuikWay! My man! Looking great man. on IMG_2203, did you take that in front of a lens filter? I see green then yellow on the leaf tips. Also on IMG_2207, you see where the plant has stretched? Does that space get filled in by bud as the plant matures? I've got some gaps like that and it seems like the bud spirals up. I dunno, I've got like 4 weeks left so I'm curious as to how those buds will develop over that time.

On one of my plants, I had to have my wife smell the bud, cause it smelled to me almost like fruit that was overripe. She didn't pick up on it and she has a super sensitive nose. That was like a week ago. Since then, terpene profiles have gone through 3 or 4 different stages. I'm starting to pick up smells of fuel, coffee, pine, and anise (licorice), grapefruit, citrus, fruity, and sandalwood. Getting pretty complex. The buds smell different from the stems on all of them.

My wife had a major toothache for a few days so I clipped some of the smaller White Gold bud and quick dried it...it's like I'm smoking a bottle of pancake syrup...it's just so thick and syrupy. Literally might be too strong for me. My wife had never smoked before...must be doing her toothache good because now she loves the stuff. She was like, got any more? And I was like wtf did you not notice the 5x5 tent full of weed on the way to take a shower lol.

And now i have to hide those buds from my cat. She knows where I've hidden them and tries to get to it, I've moved it 4 times now. I'll post a pic of some of the quick dried on my journal if you want to jump over and have a look. I had squished the hell out of it by the time I took a pic because I was just amazed at how sticky it was and I kept squeezing it. Looking forward to a response and update

I did not use a filter! i actually just started using the flash and it worked super well. and yeahhhhh a couple legend plants have a smidgen of light burn and nute burn... one cola actually got a little crispy.... but it now has 3 heads and is fat... sooo it doesn't seem like too much of a loss if any. ill take a picture of it, i left the plant as is, i didn't trim off any thing that was burn't
Cindy pretty much grew into the light and didnt get burned and has no nute burn.. i love them. they are just too tall lol
I still think some of them the buds will fill the gap, but i'm not entirely sure, i don't think my lights are strong enough to fill all the gaps...
yours looked pretty promising though.

That is an incredible/wonderful description... i want to smell all of those smells! what the hell! haha. what made you decide to pick those strains?

if it makes toothache pain go away it must be pretty damn good stuff. i need it! lol my shoulders are always so tight, im constantly rolling them and stretching and etc. I'm really hoping mine turns out to be of quality. if it matches the description i will certainly not be disappointed. supposedly ill get a pine/lavender smell from legend if you can believe leafly lol

Maybe you should give some to your kitty! animals tend to know what they need!
i had a friend whose dog had seizures like clock work every week. This guy made hash oil for his friends who had cancer(it worked "miracles").. he accidentally got some on the floor and his dog ran over and licked it all up! his dog didn't have seizures for 6 months.
seems crazy but i got to witness that! i also got to witness it remove skin growths, and liver spots.

I don't even know where to start because I want to touch on everything you said. Some things piqued my interest more than others though, so I'll start with those...with all those lights, it must be tough to keep them dialed in to the right height. At the same time, it would give you "zones" where you can have your taller plants have light that is raised up and the shorter plants have light that is closer. You have altogether 600 watts right? You know, it all went haywire when I started LST'ing mine...Even though I have a 5x5 1000, I think next grow is going to be a 3x3 scrog so I can move around. The girls just grew outta control man. There wasn't much in the way of training after I exposed their side branches. I feel like that is an indica thing though, which both my strains are indica dominant hybrids. Get a good leggy sativa and I can imagine trying to keep the height down, and what a fuss it'd be. Well, not fuss, challenge.

See, you grew multiple strains at once, and I think that was a mistake. Not from experience, but from seeing other peoples experience when they do that. I admire your obvious "i love them all so much, i can't pick just one" attitude, but you have sativa-dominant and indica-dominant in the same grow. It will make you a better grower, but I don't intend to go there myself. I'll save myself the frustration. I admire that though, pretty challenging and you seem to be handling it well.

How did I come to pick my strains? By accident. I misordered and I sent an email to the guy as fast as I could requesting something different. I was going for FastBuds Blue Dream, but I ended up going photoperiod cause I ordered blue dream regular by accident, so I was like, you know, it'd just be easier to pick out this white gold strain, white widow x himalaya gold feminized, than to worry too much about what exact strain. That was actually relieving, when I said fuck it to the strain. I had put so much unneeded effort into that decision. I'm sure I'll do it again. So two of those white gold's germinated, and I got 3 regular freebies of The Church x DeadheadOG, one of which turned out to be female.

As far as smell goes, I think it just depends on the nose smelling it. Think about it, all marijuana smells like marijuana. Growing it, I guess makes you a lot more open to the little nuances. I never thought I'd smell fuel in cannabis until I did. But it took a better nose than mine to put a finger on that. Just like wine. Marijuana that smells like diesel fuel. Crazy, right?

Its great you got to witness that dog's interaction with cannabis. It's crazy how a communication channel opens up when you're stoned with animals sometimes. Animals definitely pick up on our body language better than we do theirs.

If you have tight shoulders and overall muscle-skeletal tightness, get a good indica man. The Church x Deadhead I have outperformed soma or cyclobenz by like 10 times. Shit started loosening up that I didn't even know was tight...

I'd love to keep going man but this is, after all, your thread, and I don't want people coming in here and messing it up cause my paragraph breaks are so sexy

Thats exactly how i have my lights lol.. i've separated both, the lights are a little higher on the sativa side but it is much closer to the light... the indica seems to be WAY more sensitive to the light, so i have it just a little lower, maybe 2 inches, than the other side. im going to have to guess that's because the leaves are made for just that... catching more light and heat, being very wide and very dark.

What do you mean everything went haywire when you started the LST? haha you just have to keep those side branches tamed down as well! i dont think i took pictures right after i lst but when those branches got going i pinned them down. with no screen they ended up completely even.. I'm about to post more pictures of what everything looks like now. the sativa is even its just well.... leggy, like you said. the bushy one is having trouble standing up and it still has 3 - 4 weeks to go.. i have nothing to tie them too...

ehhhh... i didn't even know what strain cindy 99 was until i planted them lol which i only did because i thought legend was going to die. but of course, legends don't die! I was very worried that cindy would out grow the indica from the beginning, but they grew at the same rate, maybe because how i trained them? but the sativa didn't out grow the indica until flowering.... then there was nothing i could do.... at all... they did a little more than tripled in size even after super cropping. other than that i feel like multiple strains isn't too hard as long as you have a strong enough or multiple lights.

oh nice lol. everything happens for a reason. you should just worry whether you want indica or sativa, auto or photo! i have something in mind and i try to do my best to get somewhere around what im thinking about. i started smoking because of the uplifting social highs.
I just placed an order yesterday at seedsman.. i got all sativa... the freebies are all indica. and 2 strains are auto, i also have 2 more strains that are indica but i think it will be awhile before i grow them. im excited. i do just want to grow them all.
Its exactly like wine! going to the different bud shops in Colorado and then in DC, it's so hard to choose... but everytime, my nose even leads me to the sativa! durban poison and grease monkey has been by far my favorite strains. The ones that smell like moldy cheese and rotten stuff are the smells that really blow my mind...

I really don't mind, by the way lol. i don't get to have these conversations in person.
haha i wish my cat was like yours. she will eat grass and make herself sick for a day..
She doesn't mind being smoked with but only stays around for a hit or 2.

as for my body pain. i don't have a choice!! i have to hope this grow is strong enough. the stuff i'm buying now is not up to par with medical by any means.... but its not horrible, but it doesn't quite have the affects.

picture time!! its day 35 of flower, approx 30 days left for both strains give or take a few days/week.
all is looking well. fattening up nicely. buds are reaching each other. i have lots of confidence at the moment.
legend is starting to smell sweet and floral. buds are very thick
cindy is smelling someone squeezed concentrated lemon and a bit of gasoline, possibly on the buds.
super strong scent. buds are nice and dense and long. not airy, like sativa's can be, thankfully.
the last two pictures are the bud that got burnt on top. it has 4 heads now and is about an inch and a half wide.
its almost enough to take a torch to the tops of all the buds
just kidding.
its is super fat though.

Damn, your ladies look stacked man. Hard to tell without being there, but it looks like they put on a lot of size quick, man. Show's you how much experience comes into play. I'll be updating my journal a bit later. I refuse to be that guy with the unfinished journal after I've read so many and get to the end with like, the last post from 2015. In the first set of pictures you posted, the last few pics, looks like there is some unnatural color there? Or is that your camera/lighting? Looks brown along with other colors. IMG-2274 (last one) is prob my fav. Damn that's a sexy cola.

lol no, my girlfriend actually had a double take moment the other day, it was pretty great. there's a few things i wish i had done that i will definitely have to do next time. I only have 5 grows under my belt and this is definitely the most plants i've ever had at once...
right now 2 of my plants are throwing some P and K deficiency and it actually makes me happy lol i JUST fed them last watering.. but if they are going to ask for more.. by all means.. and one of my plants IS a little burnt, thankfully though it doesn't seem like it has harmed bud size, they still look similar to the others.

anywho, yes, the colors are a reflection from the hps lights.
these next few weeks are really going to be exciting. i have actually "never let it finish" i haven't ever seen the last 3 weeks, i have never kept track of time or anything else. lol..... so i'm doing my best to be patient.

Well... quite a lot actually, but it all factors into age, life experiences etc etc... went from pretty rebellious and uncaring to
kind of rebellious and pretty caring about most everything lol.

Aye I just found out that cindy 99 finishes flowering in around 50 - 55 days! they could be done in 15 days.
there are a lot of details for this strain as well that i never bothered to look up for whatever reason...
anyways... that was for me. and whomever else might be wondering

the larf at the bottom of the legend plants, all 3... that i cut off during lollipopping grew buds anyways..... they hermed...... and im pissed.. they were super small but still... i cant pull anything yet. c99 doesnt have much longer.. i sat there last night plucking them off. there are no nanners in the colas.

heres to hoping they are sterile.

Today i flushed the 3 legend plants. they are not handling beastie blooms very well at 1/4 tsp, i possibly started it too soon since it has a longer flower and not only that i miss read and thought it was deficiency. hopefully i saved them! it happened pretty fast and it doesn't look too great. one plant also has a little heat burn, they are too big... all of them are leaning on each other, not enough air flow and blah blah blah damn it.
only 1 cindy plant is showing abundance of p and k but no where near as bad. they only have about 10 days left as well. i don't think i will be feeding them any more. if i do, it wont be much.

they are out of order but 2284 shows the difference between heat and p toxicity and maybe a little k...
The right plant has the toxicity, spots, yellowing, bleaching on new leaves.
The left plant has a little toxicity, no bleaching. but its leaves are crispy and tips are burnt and it is light green only in the highest spots..
2296........ lol..... just fucking look at that... that is from too much P from what ive read... stretching.. its horrible. its the only one doing that thankfully..

everything looks juicy. the damage is not getting any worse.
one cindy plant is going to be done for sure rather soon 5 to 7 days or so! the others still just have all white hairs.
Legend has about 15 days left or so. and only the one has the damage that looks pretty bad.

real quick. i made the chop on one c99 plant i will let you know how much i got from it in a few days.
this plant looked "done" ... most of its hairs were orange and its trichs where milky... i think this plant is the one that show me her sex while in veg because these other 2 c99 look like they have another week or 2 to go..
unfortunately i have to cut this grow short, due to unforeseen circumstances.. so all plants will be cut down by the 1st!
but i will be starting again shortly afterwords. probably mid July.

ill post more pictures and then end weight soon!
