They got plenty of time to catch up with each other. Glad to hear you found a fox farm dealer! That website comes in handy. The lady at my nursery is cool too lol she even offered me some part time work on the side. I'm thinking of taking her up on it! Would probably get some discounts! She's an old hippy I just know she's got some killer bud lol. What state are you in?

Have fun repotting. You gonna add any perlite? You'll see a big difference once you got them in quality soil. Do you pH your water by chance?

They look good to me, nothing to worry about as far as growth..

FFOF is great soil, I love it.. Jiffy or FF starter really did no show much difference for me..

Grab a pack of peat cups for your next grow so you can just stick them in the main soil and be done with all this transplanting stuff.. Those solo cups can be quite the pain in the a** if the roots stick to the side...

nice.. i would consider it, if you have the time! a little extra money and plant knowledge/techniques that you might not be able to buy or learn anywhere else or actually see in action, and that possible discount! i need a morning job.
I am in Ohio. and yes, i ph my water down to 6.1 - 6.5, the Mosca seeds package says to try and keep the ph around 6.1 so that's what i have been going by. i and nooo won't be adding any perlite this go round.

ya know. i thought about those peat cups... but i wasn't sure how that worked. i would be worried about the cup not dissolving :wall:

What are you using to ph down the water?
I have never done it, always just go with distilled h2o (7.0) and let the soil adjust it.. I do ph up/down for my nute mix and stay right around 6.4 regardless of strain..

The peat cups really don't disolve i can still feel them, but they are just formed peat so the roots grow right through them and they become part of the soil.

I'm not sure what it is, but for some reason, for me anyway, I have never liked using the peat cups with veggies, because it is hardwired in my brain for some reason that those roots are gong to be stuck within those cups for the remainder of the grow after I bury them. Silly, I know, but a bothersome and nagging enough feeling to keep me away. I think that's what @QuikWay is alluding to as well :D

Quick update, mostly for journal purposes -----
5 plants are in 5 gallon pots FFOF soil
2 plants are in organic pro mix
1 plant is in cheap potting soil.

Best plants are in the best soil......
So i turned this into a real experiment, I guess. I don't have anymore to spend at the moment so I used what I had already bought..
transplant went well. It's been 6 hours and they look nice and perky still, reaching for the light. Didn't even seem to notice. Roots looked great. Thought I broke the roots of the best looking cindy but it's leafs are reaching for the light still...

Side note --- even though I never plan on using MG starter mix again, it did act as a sponge! Which you could see of course when watering.. It was so dense.. it was almost impressive if it wasn't a bad thing.... it shrank up a lot and left a space at bottom of some cups.

Personal note --- 2 bags of FFOF is aprox 5. 5 gallon pots

Updateeeeeeeeeee. Feels like its been longer than 4 days.
Does anyone ever just.. hangout with their plants for a bit everyday? or is it just me...

Everything is looking swell. except for the plant in the worst soil.... its too muddy and stays way too wet for way too long. she will have to be replanted, again. but she will be put outside when its warm enough, definitely not going to just let her go!

Side note --- never buy 3$ dirt again...

2 of the best Legend is working on her 4th set Cindy is trying to push out her 3rd.
will probably top L soon and begin LST..

One of my plants are burned from water droplets..:wall:
But 2 of the Cindy plants (according to the chart) are showing a bit of Zinc Deficiency
You can see it clearly in the last image, i took a picture of one, the worst one, the other one hasn't gotten crunchy on the tips yet, but it looks the exact same.
the 2 Cindy plants are in FFOF and are given ph'd tap water(down to 6)
currently the plants have gotten one small dose of extra fertz and will be given their plain water tomorrow.
I am currently using Grow Big, Wholly Mackerel, kelp me kelp you and kangaroots.
will be using their flowering line when the time comes.

Plants are looking a lot better, man! Don't feel bad about the water droplets burning your plant. I almost KILLED one of mine with pesticide :/ :/ :/ Luckily, I only treated the one plant to see how it would affect it until I did the other ones. She's in pretty bad shape but it looks like she'll recover. Turns out it probably wasn't pests to begin with! Anyways, I would wait a week yet to do any topping. Maybe a bit sooner. The guide that I'm following ( http://www.growweedeasy.com/scrog-tutorial ) says to do it around the 5th node. There are lots of pictures there too if you want to have a look.
Important! Cut the Grow Big and Wholly Mackerel ferts out, man! They are still seedlings and they are in FFOF! You don't need to use any heavy ferts like Grow big until at least 4 weeks. The plants will let you know when they need fertilizing. Probably a bit longer for you and I because of our setbacks. What you're seeing on your plants is most likely not iron deficiency, but nute burn. Some plants show signs of nute burn even without added ferts with FFOF. Most tap water has a good amount of iron in it already, so I'd be really surprised if that was the problem. I would stop using the kelp me and kangaroots for the time being as well.

How often are you watering? Any particular reason you are PH'ing down to 6 and not 6.5?

awh man.. that is terrible.. a heart sinking feeling comes to mind lol. what was your problem?? i am definitely going to have a look at that, thank you.
Zinc seems to be the problem, though, according to the "chart" that is....
however... i do not know what nute burns look like and i have read everywhere that FFOF is "hot" so you are probably right... its just the tips on 2 plants and doesn't look like its getting any worse. i water every 2 to 3 days so far. tomorrow will actually be the 4th day since i've watered them with a small amount of nutez.. i will be using plain ph'd water... i am phing it down to 6 because the mosca seed pack told me too... that is the ONLY reason lol... otherwise... tap water comes out at 7.... maybe a tad higher.. its super hard to get it to just go down to 6.5 as well. from 7 to 6 is way easier to hit than 7 to 6.5.... ive never ph'd my water until this grow... everything is different about this grow, actually... compared to my bag seed and shitty soil grows...

I think your ladies are too young to be going off that chart. I suppose that chart is good to give you a general idea, but I wouldn't go further than that. That's just me, though. I would need multiple pictures to convince me that that was indeed the issue. Type in "nute burn cannabis seedling" on google images and go from there to see what it looks like. Dang, tap water with a pH of 7 is pretty good! You could get away with just feeding that to your plants straight out of the tap if that is indeed what the pH is. My tap water is around 8.4 lol. Anyways, I spotted a tiny moth and something was eating the leaves of one of my plants. I couldn't spot any critters on the plants so I sprayed some pesticide on one. I'll post pictures in my grow journal when I update it in a couple days. I don't want to post it in yours. Then, this morning, I opened the grow tent window and my fan had fallen over and completely squashed one of my plants! I don't even know how it fell that far! It's seriously like it was placed there man, lol. Luckily, it just flattened her like a pancake, LoL, nothing broken, so I just stuck some spikes in the pot and started LSTing her...

ahh i see.. that definitely looks like nute burn... when i looked up Zinc deficiency all i got is "that is very very rare thing to have, its probably something else." thankfully it is just on the 2 oldest leafs and there are no other signs.. my other grows i didn't ph the water and they were excellent, just random bag seed... Their directions say you get the best results from their plants at 6. it's frustrating though so i think next grow i'm just going to leave it alone.. Geez! final destination style... what a start to lsting.
im glad you didn't find leaves all over the room!
that's pretty frustrating too, though. you need to get you some spiders! maybe some lady bugs, let'em loose and open some windows:blsmoke:... best part about a basement grow is the spiders. i had mice though... i feel like they were pretty easy to get rid of but they did a lot of damage.. they love big juicy fan leaves... i would be much more upset if i had bugs in my buds though.

Young babies don't really need much food if any for some time from germinating, you can feed them some without burning but if you overdo it they get mad.

I'm running the chemD x legend OGK, got 4/5 to pop up, 1 is retarded and has no cotyledons so it's likely going to die, which will give 3 tries at a nice fem.

Watching intently, good luck everyone with your Mosca gear!

***edit, the one with no cotyledons is not the chemD x legend, but a sfv bx from motarebel, sorry about that, 4/4 of the Double Zero OGK (chemD x Crinkle Legend) are all healthy.

My next go round will be Mosca's Heilo OGK. and i will use FFOF but i dont know what to start them in that yet. i wont be adding ferts until veg stage starts and i probably will leave my ph at 7.

It would crazy to see just a stem sticking out of the ground with no beginner leaves. i would laugh at it. i would be very sad... but i would laugh at it...:wall::clap::dunce::lol:
do you have a journal for your grow? i would like to follow.
Side Note----
any advice on someone's genetics that i should try/seed bank that's reliable is welcome.

here's mostly just a picture update. I did top my best looking Legend, the top set was just growing in on one side,
and the undergrowth is really trying to come up, was also trying to grow taller at the same time...
so i chose to top this one and begin lst.
the second best looking Legend also begins LST today due to the undergrowth trying to come up so hard, for this one...
i will not be topping because the top leaves and cola are excellent and it seems like it wants to stay short.
SO instead she will just be bent over from the top
and i removed a fan leaf for direct light purposes..
From what i've read, this will have a similar affect as topping to obtain multiple colas......

TLDR
I did what i did because the plants are growing different and i want to accommodate that...
even though i am i noob and pretty much have no idea what i'm doing. my gut told me to do this when i looked at them, so i followed.

None of the other plants look ready to begin lst or topped... Cindy looks like she will need to be topped before she works on undergrowth.
she is trying to grow tall.. if they don't change their growing ways, ill have to chop off some heads.

Sorry about the random order of the pictures.
pictures of 1844, 1855, and 1863 are of Cindy..
Their leafs are all pretty similar and are all growing a like as well.. i like the uniform of these girls...

So.. It's been 3 days...
I would like to report that the bending of the plant is far superior(or at least seems to be) to just topping and leaving it alone.
I should have taken a picture of the topped plant before i bent her over.

There is a difference between the topped plant that was tipped over and the plants
that were bent over without beheading.
The plant that was topped after being bent over won't try to stand up, it also will not have to be
turned into a damn banzai tree that may end up swirling
around your whole pot....
when they get to a certain point i will stop the swirling and let them grow tall again.

Here's a few pictures.
1907 is 1872 in the post above
1912 is 1875 ....
the rest are the Cindy plants..

Enjoy!!

Looking good bro! They are growing QUIK. I have to agree with you on the bending of the plants. They respond like crazy to that. The more light those bottom shoots get the more buds you're going to have. I was under the impression that the combination of LST and topping was to achieve this exact result. I am going easy on LST right now, Prob install the scrog tonight. Can't decide on a size/configuration though.
