3-30-13 flower 7.jpgA mix in the flower room.
3-30-13 flower 8.jpgMostly chernobyl
3-30-13 flower 9.jpga mix again
3-30-13 flower 10.jpgThe finishing HPS side
3-30-13 flower 11.jpgThese and the previous are about to be harvested from the side by side by side by side testing I did on my soil and fox farms nutrients. one is a pure organic soil of my making, another is that blend with mycos added another is a re-use of my soil and the last is the soil with fox farms nutrients used. I really don't see a difference except the re-use could have really used more organic amendments and alot more peat moss added to it-its clumpy and really hard with not much water retention
3-30-13 flower 12.jpgMostly an Ice plant with a screen. I love that screen I went and got 3 more. it's a round screen that fits my pots perfect and has nice 1 to 1.5 inch square spaces. perfect for my pots
3-30-13 flower 13.jpgon the left by the AC is qrazy train A pheno and the TALL one is an untopped fat purple. got to see if she likes growing that way or if it's a screen plant. I bet it yeilds better screened
3-30-13 flower 14.jpgAnother shot, same plants
3-30-13 flower 15.jpgThis was a gift Super Silver Haze from a guy I met at the G&S market before it became a smoke barn or whatever it is now. looks frosty but also looks like it'll be a low yeilder. hope it isn't the greatest I ever had, I killed the clones to make room....so it will be LOL
3-30-13 veg 1.jpgVeg room! these are the clones, the little ones there my stand by's.
3-30-13 veg 2.jpgwith the flash....for some reason
3-30-13 veg 3.jpgmore cuts and jamaicans waiting for sexing
3-30-13 veg 4.jpgand again, jamaicans ready for sexing
3-30-13 veg 5.jpgAnd again, Jamaicans.
3-30-13 veg 6.jpgSome PMG Poison Kush plants that were put in my charge. Prolly transplant them tomorrow, give those roots room to spread out and I bet they are monsters in a week. Got to bouble check the lineage but it's a durban poison crossed with....a kush, obviously-not sure what one forgot will post when I get the info.

DSCF4278.jpgThe Chernobyl I took the cuts for organibliss testing and I added a screen to her. she so range-y I just know this will up her yield
DSCF4279.jpgFat purple in a screen. I'm going to take cuts from her before she goes to flower but I think it'll do well in a screen, most plants do.
DSCF4283.jpgThe bread and butter strains Ice, Qrazy train, fat purple and acid
DSCF4287.jpgThe acid test. 4 soil variations, not much difference to look at it, weight may vary some but pretty damn uniform so....what do I wonder about my soil if there is no difference with and without nutes and mycos and with some re-used soil too.
DSCF4288.jpgThey look uniform to me
DSCF4289.jpgThe other fat purple this one I didn't even top to see how it does in an opposite of a screen situation

DSCF4290.jpgThe super silver haze I didn't carry on, still looks like I made the right call with yield but pretty fucking frosty too so maybe.....
DSCF4291.jpgNot sure, lots of stuff here.

PURE MICHIGAN GENETICS:
4-4-13 veg 2.jpg These are the returns to PMG-a cut of the male and female for possible use in BX of the super lemon haze x death star
4-4-13 veg 1.jpgNew PMG arrivals-poison kush. perking up from the cups, probably a little root bound but doing swell now.

4-4-13 hash.jpgsome fresh ice hash-I call it qrazypurplechernobyltrain or TGA with a touch of class
4-4-13 hash2.jpgAnother shot, can you see the purple sparkles
4-4-13 hash3.jpgnow it's getting gratutitous
4-4-13 hash4.jpgthe rest of the screen
4-4-13 hash5.jpgthe other bags were nothing compared to the 75, its my favorite anyway I think the stalks and shit give it a good flavor and have just as much kick but what ever your pleasure I guess.

4-4-13 veg 3.jpgThe chernobyl, score was low on that one. only 12.something % THC total around 14%. I like 15+ and 15 is some minimum shit usually.
4-4-13 veg 4.jpgThe fat purple in a screen experiment. I think I can get that yield up. I do not like organic in this way. I am really souring on it quickly as I research all the interviews with top breeders and growers and guys in the know I think it's an opinion based hair splitting argument for arguments sake and it always ends with simple fact:hydro yields more.
4-4-13 veg 5.jpgMy Ice plant, gonna screen her up and take alot of cuts for a large run of ice down the line.
4-4-13 veg 6.jpgQrazy train A
4-4-13 veg 7.jpg Qrazy train B and wouldn't you know it the THC isn't the same but the higher THC version has a lower overall score making the decision still a draw and bastard of a choice on what pheno to keep. I think this one comes down to looks and the bag appeal is in B I think....got to do another smoke test LOL
4-4-13 veg 8.jpgThe acid baby. PMG wants lots of cuts this time. trying to breed her to a cannatonic just to see and I think they want to try and feminize or self it to see if they can make it in beans at a 10:10 THC/CBD. As well as a couple of orders for it as a cutting. going to get it certified and in their program for that so they can distribute it.

PURE MICHIGAN GENETICS:
4-14-13 flower room 1.jpgHere we have the super lemon haze x death star. I suggest superstar as a name but not my call LOL
4-14-13 flower room 2.jpgAnd from the top, trich finally showing up there tough to see but trust me they are begining.
4-14-13 flower room 3.jpgJamiacan #5 I believe she was a tall landrace and stretches like crazy! I actually had to top here in flower which I never do but it was getting as tall as me. I do not think this will make the cut because it grows sort of F'ed up but the pallet and the lab do the deciding I just grow the shit.
4-14-13 flower room 4.jpgand from the top
4-14-13 flower room 5.jpgTop view of the slow flowering Jamaican female # 3 I think is her name. much more squat and easier to work with indoors but showing flowers slower than most so maybe indicative of a long flower time, have to wait and see.
4-14-13 flower room 6.jpgThis is my Chernobyl cut in a screen. I think yield will go up with this method but I still don't like here for the head. patients do so WTF ever I'm a servant (well employee is probably more accurate LOL) so go on and have your less potent flavorless Chernobyl LOL
4-14-13 flower room 7.jpgAnother Jamaican....#4???? no 6...eh its in the record book she grows terrible, shows weird deficiency like MG while no one else does and had to be topped in flower as well. I'll finish it but begrudgingly so.
4-14-13 flower room 8.jpgJust a shot of the finish side of the flower room. its a mix of fat purple, qrazy train, ice a rogue super silver haze that I think I had some but rot I trimmed off. I am not keeping her got it as a "gift" at the GS farm market from a fellow vendor. itll prob be the best I ever had now but hey, that's what a re-veg if for right?
4-14-13 veg room 1.jpgveg room hodge podge-most of these mothered clones a week a ggo and when I see root in the aero cloner I'mm flower them out a mix of fat purple in a screen, ice in a screen qrazy train and some cuts of jamiacans in there for the PMG guys to monkey with.
4-14-13 veg room 2.jpganother.
And that is the tour for this week. LOTS of that high CBD acid meds on hand for the moment was hoping to have a reason to go to GC3 in a week or two but the phone is blowing up and eating into the stash. less than 3 ounces seems pointless to go all that way and if this keeps up I won't have a single one even. Wonder how the market is over there for truely medicinal high CBD flowers? I'm making some tincture using the warm alcohol method, from there I think I'll reduce it into coconut oil and put it in capsules. if that tests well then I'll try and find an outlet if not then its back to butter with the sugar trim. as always comments and questions welcome go ahead and jack my thread-I won't get mad.

THE EXPERIMENT! pt 1

4-24-13 pollen 1.jpg Here is the test subject for pollen brush test 1. chernobyl # 3. she is 2 weeks into flower, a fine time to pollinate.
4-24-13 pollen 2.jpgDressed her in her bag, we're going to try and only pollinate about 1/3 of the branches so I have covered the rest of her with a bag. without the screen this would have been easier I'm sure and probably more effective as well.
4-24-13 pollen 3.jpgShe has her tags, you should mark the branches you pollinate for future reference I did mine in red and I marked them before application it seemed easier as long as I get each branch it'll be good to go.
4-24-13 pollen 4.jpgThe pollen in the jar and the little brush, its rough pollen from Drew the dad/donor is an afghan. So I don't know what to call it but with Chernobyl and afghan you could probably come up with some pretty offensive shit LOL
4-24-13 pollen 5.jpgRubber gloves, done working in the flower room for the day, showering before I put her back. now I wait, in 1 hour I will pick her up and put here in a corner, the pollen is on and settling now. She was first moved to a place far from air intake of the room to apply. I'll spray her with water before removing the bag and moving her anywhere to keep pollen that hasn't fallen off as inert and non-viable as I can as the branches will touch each other and other plants when the bag is removed and the plant put back. so lets see over the next 6-8 weeks how this went and feel free to help me and PMG come up with a name for progeny of this test should there be any. Nothing off limits, the more offensive the better for me-off the top of my head I think of Nuked Insurgent LOL feel free to post.

THE EXPERIMENT pt. 2
5-5-13 flower 1.jpg5-5-13 flower 2.jpg5-5-13 flower 3.jpg You can see if you look close the start of a seed. There are multiple spots so far but this one was the only one photogenic enough to get a shot of. so far all seeds are on marked branches, no seeds yet on the unmarked branches nor any other plants in the flower room

The rest, I took alot of pics today. totally cleaned the rooms again, not alot of flower room pics though, just the seed ones. I flowered the poison kush quartet to test for PMG and also an acid plant and an ice plant. the thrips seem under control, not eradicated but under control. I gave them all but the organibliss plants in veg a good spray of mighty wash. I'll then clean the room again in a few days top to bottom assess the situation again and switch back to captain jack after I rinse them all with mighty rinse or whatever they call that shit. The flower room is better controlled and almost eradicated entirely probably because of the lower temps. they stay below 72 while the veg room goes up to 78 some times but I'm on it like sonic and tomorrow I'll be getting azamax to put in a triple rotation of death for these fucks. captain jack with spinosad, mighty wash and azomax rinse repeat until they are a memory

5-13-13 veg 1 (22).jpg 4 in big pots, Chernobyl for the organibliss testing
5-13-13 veg 1 (23).jpgthe little clones for the next batch; couple qrazy train, an ice a couple acid and the sad...SAD little sticks are fat purples. :( They will come back to me but they look so fucking sad right now. The pretty ones got tossed from the thrip threat.
5-13-13 veg 1 (24).jpgmore, and the sprayer...for some reason
5-13-13 veg 1 (25).jpgseeds for the fat stomper 13 grow on. time to replace your bug traps scrub! DAMN

No pics yet but I have let 2 go from the poison kush test run as males (clones held for possible use later on) the rest are budding up now. none got any thrips at all *knocks wood* so far and the thrips are about done I think. daily spraying switching from mighty wash to captain jacks' spinosad spray and back for the last 5 days seems to be working. only a few larvae left on the plant and even fewer are moving at all.
