its really not so much a competition as a guide for other noobies who always ask how much can they yield. giving them actual results from first grows and putting it in a stickie should help them more than the guesses that everyone gives to that question.

anyway, i cheated and used a 600 watt hps on two plants. you'll probably win the cfl with bagseed category. in fact, i'll give it to you now.

could anyone tell me if i should leave my paper bag open or closed -_- i assume its a big diffrence but i wasnt gonna use paper bags so i really have no clue lol anyone help? thx for putting up with my noobiness lol

Paper bag? you using it to dry or cure?
If it is to dry i wouldn't let it touch the paper bag but that's just me. Drying -then leave it open a little bit. Curing after drying keep it closed (but i would use an air tight container luv)

yeah im using the paperbag just to dry for a few more days and then to jars i was told this was worked best from bleezy n sunnyside so figured id give it a try... all trimmed up got 2ozs 3 grams dry not bad and plenty enough for me but i believe i will def. get more off the other two plants just not as dank as stuff so its all good for me

i had them hanging in a lil closet for 5 days they were doing great.. but from a few people around here ive heard this will dry the nugs but keep em nice in sticky so figured id try it with my first plant and see what kind of result i get. so yeah i left it open.. and oh my god are they stinky lol when i had them hanging in my bedroom it smelt like a field of reefer lol gonna try one tonight -_-

Curing them will give'em that stickiness your talking about. And make sure whatever you dry them in is almost or completely dark

then when you cure you would want to go get some glass jars or clean the current food jars you got(go green)

yeah i got some mason jars allready disinfected and ready to go will plop them in monday prolly thx for the help guys and yeah mrnice i got them in a completely dark closet thx again friends! ohh n im looking into a better light... what would you guys recommend mh or hps and i would like to use it for both flowering and vegging?

i say get the 400 watt hps then grab a conversion mh for it, it will work great
its what i did

Don't be fooled by MH, it is nice and provides a lot of the spectrum needed for foliage growth but HPS can be used for both stages and very very effectively. They grow different in vegging under the two light sources but both types of growth aren't necessarily better than the other for vegging. As for three to four plants I would go with 250hps, it is more than enough. 400watt is perfect for 6 plants. But depends on how much you want to spend or if you plan on doing more plants at once in the future. I will be getting two 150 watts for 20 dollars each to sufice for about 4 to 5 plants in a modified sea of green.

just by my results im at right now i would say the mh is definately worthit if you want a fucken bush

well i dont know if ill have enough $ to buy both... i found a complete kit with 400 hps or mh for 119 and for the 250watt it was 117 so might as well go with the 400 got a while to go b4 i buy it still waitin on 2 more plants but thanks so much for ur input fellas appreciate it <3

just do the floros for seedling stage.... and once there abouts 5 to 7 nodes.... then put that hps on em.... or you can use floros for veg and change to hps for flower..... just a thought..... it sucks wasting all that energy for mijit seedling....plus electric bill and heat will be a major factor.... i heard alot of newbs having problems starting with 400s at the begging.... but the pros who got good ventallation or do major grows swear by them for the whole grow....
