go to radio shack, they should have the 60x-100x scopes for like 10 bucs. screen looks good, i havnt read into it that much yet, but are those squares big enough for the plants to grow into them?

o really?? coool. i have a radio shack like 10 min. down the street from me. ill probly stop by there one of these days comin up... and i "think the squares are big enought....?? Hmmm.. ill have to check to make sure. if theyre not ill make them bigger.. lol ill just cut a couple of the pieces out and double the size of the squares.. but im gonna check into that now... ill let ya know.

yeaaa. i was looking around online.. and most sites say to use wire/screen with about a 2x2in square.. but there were other people who said they have had succesfull SCROGS with wire that was 1x1 inches..?? Hmmmmm. lol well id. maybe i should go check and see how big mine is 1st. lol. that might help. thanks again SICC

yeaa. well im gonna just keepem the way they are.. and see what happens.. soo you can learn from my mistake.. or my success.. hopefully success tho. lol. but idk. i feel like it will be fine like that. especially since my plants are really little. if i had bigger plants that i vegged for a month or so.. THEN i would think i need a bigger screen. either way ill let you know how it goes

by the way.. i ended up cutting 2 big squares in the side of the box.. soo that i can water them. because if i didnt.. i would have to take the lights off.. and take out the screen EVERY time i needed to water them.. but anywayz. i was looking at tehm and theyre all looking really good.. one of them has a few branches already branching wayyy out and new sets of leaves. theyre growing soo much better than my first 4. cant wait till they start showing sex.. ill be happy with 3 females. =-)

and as far as the other 4. they look good too!! the biggest one ( Plant - B.. i just think of it as B stands for BIG or BIGGEST.. lol ) has lots of white hairs comin out all over the top and branches.. i think i counted 13 bud sites.. including the main cola.. i can see the start of all the buds.

and i tied down the LST plant again because it was looking kinda stupid. but it looks better now.. im allowing more light to get to the branches.. and the other two are looking goo as well.. no real news as far as they go..

well.. im off to the stores.probly gonna stop an radioshack and pick up that microscope today.. and im thinkin about buying this nice big square glass scale i saw the otha day.. its only $22 at traders mart.. if i get it ill show you guys what it looks like. its got an 11 lb max.. and i really doubt ill need to worry about goin ova that.. lol.

yeaaa that WOULD be nice if it was to work.. and be a "BIG" success. lol. idk ill just be happy if i get some bud from it.. i meant to post this yesterday.. but you know how i JUST transplanted the smaller plants in to the big pots because they were growing through the bottom of the the cup.. well theyre already friggin growing through the bottom of these pots too!!! is that normal......?? for the roots to grow THAT fast!!!??? i know they grow fast... but thats a little rediculous...?? i feel like i could put them in a pot TWICE the size.. and within a day or two or three... fuckin roots would be sticking out!!

lol. well anywayz. yeaa i hope the screen works. i will be updating that in a couple days along with the bigger ones too. but theres one of the smaller plants that are already touching the screen i put up!! its cool though.. wen i took them out to water then i was lookng at them.. and believe it or not theres ALOTTA growth towards the bottom branches.. new chutes sticking out here and there.. i still cant get over how fast these things are growing!!

i know the SCROG might not go as well as i planned because i guess your supposed to veg them until theyre all touching the screen.. like make the canopy 1st.. and THEN flower them.. i already started flowering them about 3 or 4 days ago. and they werent touching the screen yet.. soo idk how thats gonna affect them?? ohhh well.. like i said. it was more or less to just keep from outgrowing the box that i have them in...

ive been misting them at night now.. well at right about 7pm (cuz thats when the lights go out).. i used to mist them during the day.. or in the morning.. but then i started reading on here that your not supposed to mist them while the lights are one.. because its like i magnifying glass on your plants.. and they can burn... =-/ has anyone heard of this??

ok.. i just got home a little while ago and went in to go check on the plants.. and theyre all doing good.. of course. the bigs ones are all looking good... especially the big one.. lots of white hairsw showing now.. im gonna be takin some pics in a few and putting them up.. the smaller plants all look really really good as well..

im not sure if this has anything to do with it.. but i havent really gave the smaller plants ANY nutrients.. beside of what comes in the soil... there was 1 time i watered with Nutes (flowering nutes) but other than that.. i havent been giving them any.. and they look really good.. all the leaves are bright bright green.. none of the leaves are dry.. they smell good.. the leaves feel really really soft.. the stems are bright green.. and pretty sturdy.. (and i dont have any fan in there or any type of air flow sadly because i tried that with the last box and it dropped like 25 degrees within an hour.. soo i couldnt do that)

one thing i noticed with the smaller plants was that 1 plant on the left side is already coming through the top.. and when i checked on it.. it was all crooked and wierd looking because it grew right though the top.. but at a wierd angle.. not sure if thats making any sense. lol. ill put up some pics. i pulled the leaves that were stuck up through the screen.. and im gonna pull it back down once it gets a little taller.

as far as the other 4 plants.. they all look good.. pretty much the same as when i left.. just more white hairs.. ok well i going to go take some pics..

** i have one quetion tho.. now that there are bu sites on the plants.. should i NOT mist them now?? will this get the buds wet and cause them to mold at all?? it might be a dumb question.. but i dont want to come this far and ruin my plants because i didnt want to ask.. ok well ill be back with some pics

** i had a question about this.. theres a bunch of leaves covering the smaller buds at the bottom.. what can i do to uncover these buds..?? is it safe to trim those leves towards the bottom?? or is that a bad idea??

ok heres somre pics from the LST plant.. its actually not comin out as good as i thought. it doesnt really have any bud sights along the stem.. which is what the LST is supposed to do.. lol.. i just have a little bud starting on the main cola.. thats it.. but oo well. i got 3 other healthy plants so im fine with that.. but its still ealry.. soo this one might make a come back.. whooo knows.

Everything is lookin great man, not too sure about the roots, how big are their current pots? I would mist them during flowering either, tho i never misted before, but im sure you stop during flowering, i could be wrong tho

Umm. I'd hav to double check the exact measurements of the pots. But they're a decent size. Ok here it is. They're in a 1.37 qt sized pot. In liters it's 1.29 L. And it's 6 inches tall. Same with the small plants too.

Well..... Just found out some bad new....... My biggest plant... The one with all the buds..... Is a fucking HERMIE!!!!! grrrrrrr. That fuckin sucks!!! I took him out of the closet immedietly and put him in his own box.... But I think it might be too late. It's been almost 3 weeks of flowering... And there is one sack that is opened... I can see the sacs all throughout the plant. Especially at the top bud. That fuckin suck!! Well is it true that IF the plant WAS female and turned hermie. The seeds are supposed to all be female?? And that how they get the female seeds you can buy??

Im just gonna keep it in the box for now. I'm taking some pics too to show you guys. The oher big plant looks lik it may have a sac or too. But I. Might just be th calaxes swellin up. Cuz there's another one that looks like a sac... But white hairs are coming out of it. Soo I'll leave it for now and see what happens. The other 2 plants don't have any signs of the sacs. Sooo that's gooood. I'm still pissed about the bug one though. But I'm gonna just grow it out anywayz. Fuck it.

I ran I to a little problem with the smaller plants too. One if them grew into the light and burned one leaf. So I cut it off. I pulled it through the screen now. And it looks fine. Took a couple pics ifthat as well. I just pray that the babies don't go hermie on me too..... That will be such a dissapointment. One plant (my best one) goin hermie was dissapointing. I hope the other don't turn out that way.

ughhh.. well just gotta hope that was the only hermie in the bunch... the short stalky one that i have as my avatar pic is looking really good.. the leaves seem to be ALOT skinnier than all the other plants... soo hopefully it will be a different strain than the others...

Heyyy watsup?? Yea well I was doin a little research on the hermie seeds thing. And from what I can find out... It's that if the plant starts out as female. And then goes hermie. You get all female seeds... BUT.. if the plant starts out as a hermie. Then it will produce hermie seeds.. And got more bad news... Found out that the other big plant ( figures it's the two biggest plants that go hermie ) is a fucking hermie as well.. soo the only two that aren't.. (so far) are the LST plant m.. Which is very small. And the short stalky one. Which is cruelly looking really really good. Soi as of right now. I took the hermie an put he-she back I. The closet. And took out the ONE good plant that's not a hermie yet. And put HER in the box alone... just until I figure out why u want to do. It's sooo hard ti just toss out those other 2 big plants. but I know I have to... and plus. I have 6 other plants in my other grow box thy may turn out even better than the biggest 2 plants that wnt hermie. So far thr smaller plants all look wayy healthier than the bigger plants. Sooo let's just hope that a few if the 6 smalle plants I have turn out to be female.

Also. I wanted to get a HPS light soon. Not anything bug like a 1000 watter or anything. Just something small. Like maybe 250 watts. Just enough ti grow like 4 or 5 small plants. How much do you think that would cost? And where's the best place to buy it?? I'm guessing online. Anyone have any good websites?? I know they have bulbs at home depot. But not the rest of it. Would 250 watts be enough?? I'll probly keep a few cfl's for the bottom of the plants.

heyyy SICC.. i know your probly sicc (sick.. lol. tryna make a joke.. haha..) of hearing me say this.. but thank you again!! lol that site is fuckin awsome.. and it makes me feel better too knowing that its an actual retail store (none are near me).. soo i feel safer ordering online.. but yeaaaa.. im thinkin i might order just the 150 watt HPS.. its a little mini one.. its like 70 bucks.. which is mainly the reason im getting it..well my girl said she would get it for me for Christmas... lol.

but its gonna benifit her alot too.. cuz like i said before.. sadly.. i only take like 3 or 4 hits... and im gooood. lol. i get anxiety for some reason if i smoke too much.. or depending on what kinda weed it is.. but she can smoke howeva much she wants. lol. lucky!! soo alotta the weed i grow is gonna go to her.. and anyoine around the neighborhood that needs some.

ive got my list of weed seeds narrowed down now.. its between Blue Mystic... Urban Poison (indoor version of Durban Poison) and Black Jack.. ak-48 was in the mix too.. but i decided i would grow that anotha time maybe.. black jack is the most expensive.. but i feel like it would be worth the extra 6 bucks..

also.. was wondering how many plants i could actually grow with just 1 150 watt HPS....?? i know that HPS is better for Flowering.. but it can be used throughout the whole thing.. and from ehat i hear.. its better to use a HPS the whole grow than to use a MH the whole grow.. but if i use HPS the whole way.. im still gonna throw some Daylight CFL's along the sides of the plants.. i was kinda hoping i could at least grow like 4 or 5 plants with the 150 watter..

the 400 watt HPS is only like 116 tho.. which isnt bad at all.. im almost tempted to ask for that one.. or maybe throw some money in towards it and get it.. because i know they have those conversion bulbs.. ( MH and HPS ) that you can use in the HPS or MH lamps and vise versa.. and they also have those dual bulbs.. like MH and HPS together in 1 bulb.. but wherever i can find them.. they always have a 400 watt minimum.. i never see any 150 watt bulbs..

the plants are all doing fine soo far.. and as of right now i still havent thrown any out yet. because im still debating on what to do.. because i checked the hermie(s) yesterday.. and the big one.. the sacs have already opened.. like 6 of them.. and ive seen pollen come out.. soo i feel like its almost too late for the other plants.. i still have that one that has no balls in a box by itself for now.. im just gonna keep it like that until i see if it will grow some balls... lol. sounds funny. cuz idk.. i just dont want to have to throw out ALL of the plants..but idk.. im thikning about starting a new journal for the small plants.. and keeping this one for the bigger plants..

the smaller plants are all doing good.. theyre all gettin pretty close to the screen.. and there is that one that made it through the screen already.. that one looks fuckin awsome.. it came up.. and i ( kind of roughly.. it was the only way i could force it through the screen ) pulled it back down.. and then pulled what was left back up through the screen... and now it is looking nice.. its grow straight up again and its looking good.. ill get a pic of that one up here today.. i wont go crazy like the last time.. lol...

but yeaaaa.. just lemme know what you guys think ( its pretty much only you SICC who comes through and answers my questions and helps me out.. or even bothers to check on my journal. lol ) about the 150 watt HPS and how many plants i can grow.. like i said ill be using a few daylight CFL's too... and lemme know your opinion on what strain you think i should grow... Black Jack... Urban Poison.. or Blue Mystic??

def go for the 400 potna, i had 2 150's (in my 4x2 tent) and they worked pretty well but i recently (about 2 weeks ago) upgraded to a 400 watt hps/mh switchable remote ballast, sounds fancy but it was only like $150 and its welllll worth the extra coin, my babies have shot up, they love the extra lumens (roughly 16,000 for a 150 and 55,000 for a 400)

Yea man if you can, i would get the 400 watter, you will shit your pants with the results haha, as long as it properly ventilated, you can make a DIY cool tube or whatever, but its more cash, you can always get the 150, then eventually go up to the 400 like oasis said, as for rep, which have plenty haha, on the persons post, looks for this

oo wow really..?? it was only 150?? thats not bad at all... where did you get yours? cuz i was thinkin about getting the switchable ones.. soo i can use the MH during the Veg.. and the HPS during the Flowering.. and yeaa right now im just usin a bunch on CFL's.. soo i can only imagine the difference.. lol and yeaa ill deff check out your grow man.. what is the bagseed from?? just some mids? or something bomb?? and yeaa this is my new hobby.. well. its kinda turned into an obsession. lmao.. im really bad. lol. i never stop talkin about. but kk. im bout to go check your out now. thanks for the help.. and deff. keep checkin my grow out.. ioll be putin some more pics up soon.
