Your first grow?
Wow If it is your doing a hell of a lot better then I am. haha
Just throwing this out there, just recently purchased a Viparspectra 450W to replace my marshydro300W and after 24hrs my babies started flowering out of nowhere, though I had already switched to 12/12 cycle not too long before the new led. Anyways, here are my babies!View attachment 4149678 View attachment 4149679

This would be my second, I'm gonna have to say patience was the biggest lesson learned from the first go round, not that we did bad there either I just think we pulled them up about a week and half or so too early, at least one of the 2. Here's a pic of the bud after curing for about 3 weeks. It's SuperNova strain20180605_205109.jpg

In a way we all turn into babysitters/nanny. Gotta check ba-ba, diaper, are you hungry, feeling sick... lighting, ph level, nutes, air temp, water temp...how are my babies feeling lol you worry enough check on them every day figure out how they're feeling what they need everything will come out just fine. Just make dam sure you're up on the CURE PROCESS. SUPER HUGE point of interest that will greatly affect total outcome as far as taste/effect. IMO anyways. Good luck brother

Yea I don't really care about quantity being first grow and space issues in a 2x2 but Idk yet I just want as best of quality I can get from bag seed and Ik the cure will play a major role in that if you don't mind what way do you cure I heard a lot of different ways but most common is in mason jars and opening them up ever day and letting them dry for 2-3 hours.
I don't have fancy humidity readers or anything like that just want a effective simple way to cure my bud that is if they are even girls
Fingers crossed though and truth be told I don't mind if they hermi because I rarely get seeds and when I do i have only poped that 2 out of like 7 total and if they hermi yea they will be loaded with seeds but at least I can grow some more and I don't really have the $ for femed seeds or autos or anything like that

Clones are 10-15$ at local dispensaries most of the time. You only need one. Clone the ones you have too, if you like what you see.

You can always make seed's on lower branches with colidal silver.

You're gonna have to get a hygrometer if you really want to dry/cure right. Cost about 12$ for a jar sized one like a Caliber IV or inkbird. I control dry in stage's, no jar popping needed. But cross that bridge when needed.

Totally forgot about cloning I can just do that thanks
And I may not get a quantum board would this work

Less then a quantum and I don't want to throw to much money into this grow just in case something goes haywire and if it will work
for 2 plant if I don't get to long?
If you have the knowledge how much heat would this throw off and what is the light bill gonna look like $$$?

My guesstimator says about 12$ a month for the 125w. One of my 1k with fans and sheet is 115$ a month. Plus my outdoor sheet. I'm running about 3k watts combined atm. Best guess is 10% of wattage gives rough monthly cost. CFL and t5 work just fine just gotta keep the lights close to the canopy is all.

You can bag cheap lights, fans, tent's etc off Craigslist too. Just lowballl posters.

The dream shatters real easy for some new grower's so you can pick up the pieces cheap on CL. You can resale gear too until you put together the package you want.

Example: I got 3k$ worth of gear before for 180$.

Yea I'll have to look around but what about this for 2 plants if I flower early and I possible I want to attempt a scrog but Idk yet

I mean It will work but the reviews are sketchy. Expect to buy a replacement bulb in 6 months. Looks like a 5-6k Kelvin light too. Optimal for flower would be 3500 and under.

Check hydro stores that sell and trade gear. Should be some if you live in a mmj state.

That's exactly how I cured mine nothing fancy I hung the buds after doing a minor trim mainly just the big stuff, they hung for 4 days or so until they felt good and dry to the touch(knowing they're still wet in the center) slapped it all in mason jars 3/4 full then like you said let them air out once a day for about a week then let them stay sealed up a little longer maybe burp every 2 days, so on so forth...youll get the idea. And give it a good wiff as soon as you crack your jars open. No ammonia smell=no worries

Meant to add to that, trimming leaves a little bit each day during the CURE as they curled up until they looked pleasing to the eye lol

It's alot of fun and very gratifying when you get to that stage, getting to handle and trim and manicure the fruits of your labor, getting chill bumps just thinking about it I honestly wish you the best of luck and hope like hell you make it to the finish line brother
