My First Grow. Bag Seed

Yea I heard that letting your water sit out for a day or two is supposed to help with evaporating chlorin is that correct and another question I have a seed germed and i put it in soil and I moistened the soil but when I look closely I see tiny white worms I mean like almost microscopic in the soil. Are they gnat Lara and if so how would I go about getting rid of them?
Thanks
Letting your water sit will get rid of chlorine but that’s about it, better to spend the extra money (there’s enough for about 500 gallons in the bottle I buy) and get your water conditioned. And as far as the worms, I would either get an organic insecticide like neem oil or get some new medium to grow in entirely. Remember the more you put into it the more you’ll get in return, as of right now they have all the nutes they could possibly need but i would invest in some fox farm soil for once they get a little bigger.

I'll look into it but the soil I am using right now feeds for 4 months now I know that is not good for when it comes to flushing and could cause nute burn, but I just got some soil sadly not ffof but it does not have any nutes what so ever and I plan on buying organic nutes and I drains pretty well so do you think it will work if their are no time released nutes this is it about the only thing for none time release around me.15273693700981218074645.jpg

Just make sure they get their nutes, that’s all

Btw you can add/mix epsoma tomatotone or any tomato fertilizer to that and have decent soil cheaper than buying pre mix. Like 5-8$ for 5lbs for the fert.

1-3 cups per 1.5 cuft bag is all it takes to get going.

Can give you a recipe for making soil if you need it.
Good luck and happy growing.

Please do, education is never a bad thing.
I use a modified version of this on my bud, houseplants, landscape, veggie garden all in the same mix. Tweak it for you you don't have to use every thing listed. Put the dry amendment in a gallon Ziploc bag, mix then add the 2-3 cups to the soil, save the rest for next time or top dressing.

Looks harder than it is. Products are cheap if you shop around. Use what you can get as long as you got some epsoma and worm castings.

Yea I just transplanted to some new soil I accident broke some roots but there are still a good amount on the plant will it be fine after some shock
A few roots is fine should take 7 days or less to recover and expand.

I once ripped 80% of the roots off and the plant looked dead for 3 weeks then snapped back. :-)

Yeah, right now fungus gnats are a beotch. As long as the top soil dries out they will take off. Fly strips above the plant will fux their day up. ;-)
