i got 3 clones all rooted (nothing major but rooted) i put them in my aeroponics amazon system it has been 10 days i took the pics on the 9th day, no growth on top and roots are growing very slowly, 1 of the clones the roots are not even out of the net pots yet, the other 2 have roots coming out of the pots but only small ones... they look overwatered but my misters in the system are on only for 15mins after 1hour and 15 mins of off ... clones are in small rockwool cubes covered with clay pebbles... im using a 600w hps for veg and flower,at the moment the light is 4ish feet away from the tops of plants.. ppm at 400-430, ph at 5.5 - 6.1 when it hits 6.1 i will adjust.. in a 1mx1mx2m tent with a 4 inch extractor fan and carbon filter being extracted to a different room, the tent has negative pressure with this extractor, also using a small fan to push air around the tent aiming over the top of the plants not at the plant.. temps are cool not got a temp gauge it broke need a new 1 asap but temps and humidity feel good to me. but these pics what do you think,, after 9 days will they bounce back,, any questions im happy to answer,, thanks

Don't start adjusting the pH in this setup. Not until it goes over 7. Are the roots growing AT ALL? Plant growth above ground is minimal until roots are established to support it nutritionally.

Run those misters as much as you can, 24/7 if possible. Looks like your roots are drying out and pruning back.

That may not be the problem, but seeing as there are no fibers coming off, I'd say that's a good place to start.

I always wait till mine are totally rooted and established to give them any sort of strong HID lighting. My clones , post transplant, root a few additional days under fluoros before moving underneath the 1000w MH in veg.

What are your room temps and humidity? What is your water temperature? If you are doing hydro then you NEED to know your water temp! Anything over 72ish and you're inviting slime and rot.

Also, I was confused by your timings.
but my misters in the system are on only for 15mins after 1hour and 15 mins of off ...
What does this mean? Are you 15min on, 15min off?? 1hr on and 15off?? Please clarify...

If those clones stay stunted for any significant amount of time then just toss them.

They need more food weather it's adjusting spray time or upping the ppms, they need more food.

All the food in the world wont be able to help if his plant cant take them up. He needs to focus on getting those roots healthy and the rest of the plant will follow.

I would put a smaller light on them until they got healthy again.

More food. He's got roots. Feed the darnn thing.i would be hand watering a cup a day thru the top or turn the sprayers up.That 600 watt ain't bothering those clones. They were never healthy from the time they popped roots they were under feed . Save your damn quote next time.

thanks guys, i looked at the roots just before spray time and they did kinda look too dry for my likings, the reason i was holding back on the mist is because i actually killed 5 seedlings due to overwatering in this system before i got my clones, so raise the ppm to 600 and made the mister turn on more frequently,

Seedlings are very touchy to over watering . I will kill them every time in rock wool . Rapid rooters are better but I don't even do that anymore . I just use soil now in a solo cup and once they have out grown the cup you can dip the root ball in a bucket of water to rinse the soil off and put in a system .
I think you will be pleased with your decision and should only take a few days to see the results.

i was thinking about doing that for the next run, whats the shock like? how long before you see new growth after rinsing the soil off, i was thinking of using coco for this as it will be a little easier to rinse off, yep i killed 5 big buddha cheese 1 cookies kush and a white widow gutted but lesson learned i suppose, thanks for the helpful advice dude

I can't see you pics but make sure you slowly took it out of the dome, the humidity transfer can mess with your plants. Also keep them wet, just cuz they are in hydro doesn't mean they will get wet. Get one of the "O" dripper or build a water lift with an air pump. Keep roots wet until they are long enough to get themselves wet. (Not necessarily in water, the air stones splash droplets up which can hydrate your roots.

I have had no shock at all . I used to just use the sink sprayer but find the bucket method to be gentler.
Coco has some special things you have to do to it but will work and you have to feed it too. To much hassel for me .

Sorry about the high jack but I'm just about to throw my clones in their respective net pots and was wondering how the best way to do this. I'm going to rinse them off of the rapid rooters and their also on a bed of perilite. Do I just plop them in the net pots and cover them with balls, they've got quite a root structure after 7 days, was thinking it would take 10 days for roots, I was wrong lol. Their going into a flood and drain tote. Thanks for any help.
