I had a boxer that would munch leaves all the time. It won't do much to your plant other than maybe a bit slower because less photosynthesis.

Ummm...you could grow some catnip somewhere else..that way the cats will stay around there..

It's a natural instinct to eat grasses and leaves for fiber. Cats eat a lot of meat in the wild. Like American truck driver quantities. Like suggested, grow some lemon grass and the such. Then hiss when the cat eats the weed. Within a couple days, kitty will no what's up. And no, I'll never hiss at Mello...

As long as they take small "samples" it will do no real harm, but be warned, once they get to the sticky stage, there will be cat hair all over your plants unless you find a way to keep them away from your plants.

Use habanero spray like for mites. Ghost chilies are even better.
yeah, good idea kill the cats. I am sure his rents won't ask any questions when they find their cat smelling like some Jacks' Habanero Hot Sauce and weed. hehe. wish kids would stay offa here. rents, watch your kids and tell them to stop asking stupid questions! thank you, drive thru.
