That is awesome kind of reminds me of Alex Grey...
thats so funny u mentioned that.

alex grey is basically my brothers idol.

and he just moved into my neighborhood, and my brothers friend knew him, invited him to a few parties, and hes going to his studio opening with some of his drawings

small world..

all good though, because his actual copyright is embedded in each photo.. if u want to look for an hour or two, you'll see his initials...

#1 The copyright is not embedded in the photo, its just pasted on using JPG Creator.

#2 Just putting you initials and the date on something does not make it copyrighted. You actually have to send a copy of the work into the copyright office along with a form and $20.

You can also just put whatever it is that you need copyrighted into an envolope and mail it to yourself. Or send it with no address just a return. And the post office will stamp it. Usually with a date and address.

So, if someone tries to take your shit later on down the road. You bust this out with an official Government stamp on it. Admissible in court. But, of course, it would only help if you actually made it before the conflicting picture/document.

Def. be better off just getting it actually copyrighted if you're serious 'bout it though.lol

lmao... no i didnt mean the red writing haha.. no no no, i mean he has a certain insignia IN each picture... thats y i said it'll take a while to find it.. not even sure where it is in this picture, but he copyrighted the initials, because it is exactly the same in every photo he has, its his way of not having to copyright each and every picture that he draws...

n FDD i actually just hung out with him the other night, and after a long night of drinking he let me take a few photos, probably about 3 or 4 different pieces, but i used my girlfriends phone and will have to wait until she gets back (away for easter ) to upload em, but i got em for u!
