okay. i am a noob at this. its myfirst grow. i tried to do alot a research to get my shit straight before i actually started the plant but still running into problems. the plant started out nice and healthy but now the leaves are starting to turn colors. from what ive seen online i am thinking its a ph flux. but whatever it is i could use some advice on how to fix it. please comment. anything will be appretiated

i have it under one 42 watt cfl. i have only given it nutes one time and it was after the problem had already started. but the nutes are azalea camellia rhododendron plant food... it has 30 % N.. 10% P and 10 % K.. with some secondary nutes. and when i gave it the nutes i only gave it half the amount suggested for indoor plant. it did seem to respond well to the nutes but the disoloation is still there. on of the leaves has almost completly channged colors. im not sure about the ph but i use purified water. i also try to let the water set out a couple days before use

Your right ,get a good ph meter from hydro store not the $2 shop and ph adjusters, should be close to 6.
purified water is over 7 so ph prob too high.

Hmmm....I have no idea...do the leaves feel dry and crispy or limp and pitiful? You might have your light too close, could be ph...might just be a shitty plant...that happens sometimes...like there is just something wrong with it and nothing you can really do...I had an amnesia haze seed that I planted and it grew it's first set of leaves, that then closed upward around the plant and it got all crispy and died...it grew no roots...yeah riddle me that...no roots...there was the little root tip and that was it, so I was like hmmm...no wonder it died...

i get paid in a couple days so im definatly gunna get a ph tester and also some fox farm. im so puzzled. the leaves feel normal and are pointing up like normal its just like some took a lighter shade of green on a paint brush and splashed it on there. hopefully the fox farm and a new pot when i transplant will save it :/

You can get a Hanna pH wand for $40 or so. You'll want some calibration solution and pH up and down. Grand total should be around $65 to $70 for all the pH equipment you'll need.
