My auto experience this year.

I decided to grow out a shit load of auto's this year just to see what their all about. I tried alot of strains to see which ones did the best and smoked the best. I had these strains.
3-Amnesia from dinafem
6- white widow from dinafem
12 cash crop auto's from Cream of the crop
7- wild Thailand from World of seeds
8- Iranian's from Dr. Greenthumb
10- Russian Rocket from short stuff seeds- regulars
1- pineapple express
2- auto Skunk's cant remember from where they were freebies
2- Afghan Kush ryder from World seeds
1- Sweet dark devil
All seeds were started in 4 inch cups under 18hrs light and kept in tent until established then transplanted all of them to their own 2 gallon container expect for the Russian Rockets they were two per container since regulars. ( Only had four germinate though so wasn't liking these much already) Containers were filled with Hp Pro mix and fed SeaMax veg and Bloom through out entire life.
My report from my experience.
Amensia- personally i thought they were wonderful until i seen the sorta bud formation they had then wasnt impressed very leafy. Smoke was mediocre and tasted like hay. Smelled of lemons
White widow- slow growers, low yields, but good bud structure nice smell and taste again mediocre high but low mold resistance forced early harvest in my opinion.
Cash Crops- Fast growing great structure beautiful buds. Started to mold at the end. Dried nice looks great good yield. Decent high.. way above the ones above.
Russian rockets- Horrible personally thought they were weak looked great smelled awesome but lacks in the high. Low yield
Afghan Kush Ryder- smallest of the auto's but really good high and great buds just not very much
Skunk's - Fought mold as soon as they got decent bud structure.
Iranian's - These are the clear winners i got two pheno's a pink haired earlier one with big tight buds great yield other ones are still growing they seem about three weeks behind their sister's but their a good bit bigger. No mold issues with these
I know i mentioned mold alot but most of them acquired mold issues. Brought on my the hot humid summer weather wasnt brought on by rain. But thats my experience this year, i'd be happy to answer more in depth questions on these if anyone has any. Or any other comparison stories

you know you could of veg'd the iranian's
they are not a true auto and will veg on 24/0 and then flower when a dark period is introduced
they can also be cloned

and what was the run times ? you do know most need 10 + weeks atleast to finish proper
like the amnesia is around 10 ive grown alot of those
and the widow most of mine took until week 12

that's pretty nice looking Afghan. But yea mine were on the small side 24-26 inches tall id say. I call it small cause in comparison to most the other strains they were petite. Cash crop's got shoulder level with me, Iranian's not quite as tall just little shorter but way bigger plant's overall. I still have one of the Amnesia going, mainly cause I didn't even feel like trimming it after seeing what the product was on the other two.
Most of my auto's were started first week april. Except for a few late arrival's like the Wild Thailand their still going. Most of mine was a forced decision to cut when I did because of Bud rot spreading through certain strain's like wild fire.

I should have mentioned I grew all of these outside also. But all were in full sun all day with plenty food and water

ya i got ya bud thought you was indoor
alot and i mean alot of people say the only place for auto's is outdoors
i call bull shit
ive had killer results both in yields and potency with most of the same strains youve grown indoors on 24/0
and the only reason i havent had good luck with the other strains is i havent grown them

and the dinafem amnesia hands down is one of the best smoking bud ive grown from them
very lemony speedy hits you like a freight train but i think indoors and outdoors is a big difference

Yea 24/0 light cycle would probably give better results. Plus being able to control the climate , hot muggy, humid days brought out bud rot in most of them. I'm still satisfied with results from my auto's this year. Was mainly interested in seeing if any of them were worth the effort of growing out a shit load of them in the spring and getting an early harvest. Iranian is the only I would attempt it with and jus seen today where Dr Greenthumb is going to quit selling seeds next march.

Diesels always seem to be REALY good as autos...
