That's the same Cal-Mag I use. This RO is tricky but I think I'm getting the hang of it.
Glad to hear you got what you wanted from your harvest. You work hard at learning so much & trying new things. You might be a smaller scale grower but you'll have aquired more knowledge then many of the big guys, which you might be surprised to find out many don't know much & will probably never touch of the subjects you've already experienced. Keep up the good work!
Breeding now too.
I've never used CMH at all actually. Just a few diff MH's before switching to led. From what I read awhile back, they made the 630 before the 315's but they kept blowing out early or something wasn't right about them. Maybe they've fixed the issue & if so, I bet they're killer.
You thinking of taking that journey? I doubt you'll be disappointed. I wonder if 2, 315's or a 630 runs any cooler then a 600 HPS.
I believe every light source to be approx as hot as the next know matter what they say.
It's the amount of light you get per watt that makes the difference & if 1/2 of it is hitting the walls or your plants.
Really contemplating switching things up in my grow & going w/ much smaller plants & lenses. That way they don't have as much time to get any issues in a veg room that's not as controlled as the flower room, more colas, better health, possibly leading to greater yields per sq'.
Got 3 lil AoS going & they look healthier to me then the big one they're next to.
But again, I can't really judge anything till I get a run in that hasn't been contaminated w/ possible phytotoxicity from the phosphite in Plant Dr. I see diff sighns of it on each strain as each one metabolizes it in its own way & some handle it better then others.
Wish I knew the secret to using it. Like maybe early veg only. But I can't really tinker around w/ this size grow to find out. Gonna have to run some experiments eventually.
Just wish solid answers were available pertaining to systemic preventatives in regards to cannabis. From my last 2 runs I have determined they just aren't safe either for our consumption or for the outcome of our flowers depending on what's used.
Guess I need to work on my veg environment & surrounding area at this place. Can't get much cleaner.
Even know I rarely see a problem, I know the possibility exists & if it pops then it spreads like wild fire. That's just some scary shit.
Thanks for the kind words brother. I'm super stoked about the breeding. My first two beans are growing so vigorously, healthy, and FAST lol. And STINKY, never had plants this young smell so damn dank. These were 2 or 3 days ago now I think if you don't mind:

IMG_20170709_013513.jpg IMG_20170709_013516.jpg

The plant the seeds came from ended up giving me 4.13 zips of dry bud aside from the film canister full of seeds. The smoke is FIRE too. I'm not complaining given the circumstances. I basically grew a plant and did all the "no-no's". It was an auto, it was organic soil and mostly water, it was an LED light, I topped it, I defoliated it many times, and then I let the male have at her LOL. Oh and less than 70 days seed to harvest LOL No complaints on my end brother.

I was just curious on the 630 CMH because I am getting split feedback from a couple different guys. Waiting on freaking Hortilux to get back to me so I can send in my 600 watt ballast for replacement. I'm adding some space in the near future and to keep cost down going with what I have on hand which is the 600W Blue MH and my 1K watt Supper HPS. Was just curious if the 630 DE CMH in particular was worth the expense..........

I liked my old 315 from Sunsystems but the penetration of the light (in my opinion) lacks compared to the 600's, I feel it's better suited for SCROG's than anything, unless you start stacking them (2) per spot in place of a 600 in which case now you have to look at cost and it just doesn't make sense to me for the 5x9..............

Trying to see if we can order the Hortilux "Ceramic HPS" yet:
http://www.eyehortilux.com/products/ceramic-hps.aspx

As for the plant Dr brother I just can't comment because I have never used it. Anything would be pure speculation.

Hope everything is good :peace:

It's tap water that's tricky. Who knows what grade or source of minerals your municipality uses (lowest bidder?). For all we know it's some chinese Fukushima shit that's being dumped on us, similar to fluoride

Heading to work so gotta be quick.
I had thought you were referring to the 630 bulb. The De-630 is the newer one & should be legit. Have no experience w/ it though.
How dare you use an led light to grow your topped, n de-fo'd auto. You naughty boy you. Lol! I always thought you could top, de-fo n loli-pop autos. Bet you could even clone one to if you did it early enough.
Yeah, those 315's are nice but I figured for veg or supplemental. I was hoping they'd have come out w/ a 55 k by now.
Ok, have a good day bro.!
Keep up the good work!

Yeah, your right. See, I only had experience using tap water that was some of the best available I guess. Tasted so good too.
Maybe I just don't like RO cuz I e yet to have a bangin grow w/ it but it's prob. No fault of the RO.
Wholly Towers of bud you got on them there girls. Damn Pet, you'll need your Axe to chop them. Timber!! Lol!

LOL, the main stalk is only ~ 1/2" diameter, both plants < 3ft of bud branches. I am using Emerald Harvest for these, but running NPK Raw (dry nutrients) for my new grows. The picture of the ~ 4 week old plants are growing really well, with a more stable pH. I changed over from RAW Grow to RAW Bloom late last week. I'll post a pic soon

I ended up sitting down and looking at what I need to get my bigger tent going and need to watch my pennies as usual so.........

I ordered more pots, some more Tupur, and (2) Raptor Hoods. Will be throwing up the 600w Blue MH and the 1K Super HPS for now and just rock with those. We both know they work. Not the most efficient blah blah blah but they work. Least expensive way to handle the lighting for now use what I have lol.

What's up brother @Hybridway , I'm not so certain the Plant Doctor is your culprit.
I have a tent where I can't keep proper climate control and have some pm issues there time to time.
I am testing the Plant Doctor on that crop now and have noticed no negative effect on aroma or dankness thus far (harvest will tell for sure), and these plants are like week 5/6
An interesting note is that all of the Oil type sprays smother the fuck out of pistils and brown them out, Plant Doctor has no effect and they stay standing straight up!
I'll keep you posted after those come down if I notice anything negative

Yeah, I dunno for sure. Interested to see what you come up w/. Never used it in flower myself. Just veg @ 1/2-1 tsp. (last run) for a prevetative (never popped PM) & this time just prior to flower @ 3/4 Tbs. as I thought PM was starting to be present.
Now I just ended wk3 & saw a few spots. Was very surprised cuz I figured the prior application would've prevented it. De-fo'd the whole room last night & am planning to coat it all w/ Apocolyps before lights out tom. I've used the Apocolypse (now called Mite n Mildew something r other) a few times up to wk 5 for spider mites & it didn't orange up the hairs. Hoping it doesn't this time too. It's a Neem based product.
My bud last time seamed all good when on the plant, had plenty of smell n crystals, it was after it dried that I feel it lost some oomph & appeared a bit leafy or loose. At first I thought it was the way I dried it cuz I don't have the nice drying room environment I used to use. Lost allot of the smell n it didn't come back during the cure.
Still not positive but after researching it further I think it may be a possibility that the Plant Dr. May of had something to do w/ it. Phosphite is said to reduce trich production by up to 1/2. The ingredient is Mono & Di-Potasium which breaks down to phosphite I guess. Having a hard time getting a full understanding of it all.
Thing is, there's no deff answers or people that can confirm my theory on it in regards to cannabis. Only people refferencing studies that apply to grass n some veggies.
When I applied it in veg the plants seemed so happy w/ it I began to consider it a foliar spray too or at least call it that to my friends that are against spraying systemic preventatives as they didn't understand it wasn't poison to us. Many of the growers secretly have PM n don't tell anyone so they can off the product. Especially this time of year.
I offer all info pertaining to the grow on my journals whether bad or good so that hopefully others may gain or learn something from it despite what they may think about my abilities. I know what I've accomplished in past grows & that's all that matters.
Yeah so please do Lmk your findings bro.
Really thought I was onto a good product that could help us in preventing the dreaded PM.
I'll tell you what, when I used it in veg & my room was crammed w/ to many full plants, high temps & humidity, it seemed to have worked cuz I got no spots, also nothing appeared in flower last time.
But now it popped in flower so I just don't know man.

It interest me that they are claiming it to be "systemic" yet recommending it be sprayed weekly? o_O
Clearly not too long lasting in the plant tissue

I thought it was long lasting @ first cuz 1 , 1/2 tsp treatment in early veg & 1 @ the end last time & I didn't have a PM problem. 1 1/2 months apart. But maybe it just wasn't present. Since then the temp & humidity has gone up from the season change. This time I went a lil stronger 3/4-1 tbls. cuz I saw Pm on a few leaves & it heald back till now which was almost 4 wks. Prob. Would've heald on preventing if I gave it a weak spray last wk.
Didn't cuz I was noided it may effect the flowers finishing quality.
It's Deff not Eagle 20 but then again I was doing everything I could to not use that stuff.

Your plants look nice mang! Looking like a nice yield there.
Glad to hear that you like your Amare's & that I may have helped.
Really wanna get somthing flowered under my Pro-9 too.
So many new strains out.
Next run will be GG#4 again. Hoping I got a decent cut. Also I got an OBB (original Blueberry) & a Sensi-Star. There's a nice Flo too but I don't know if I'll have the room for it. Maybe, if my Mini-Split gets installed.
I won't be hitting them w/ Plant Dr. Anymore. The veg was treated w/ it about 3 wks ago but from here on out they'll get Apocolypse only & hopefully the Phi (Plant Dr) will work its way out of their system.
Just praying these current flowering girls don't come out crappy. They're chugging along now. Looking happy n healthy so far.
I'll try to update pics tom.
Ended up with 6 pound 6oz, very happy with both lights I must say, if anything the Apache might give slightly more yield but the Amare has more crystals, really splitting hairs if anything. Both were amazing.

Bout 1/2 way there. PM popped on a few leaves so I treated them w/ Apocolyose around the end of wk 3.
I feel the Plant Dr. Is holding them back a bit. Won't ever use anything systemic again. Learned my valuable lesson.
Only topical preventatives in the future if need be.
image.jpg image.jpg Only just started running the monos on 3 of the 7 Pro-4's.
Well, had 3 of them on in the beginning but shut em down for the past few wks due to hot days/nights. Started to cool down this wk so flipped em back on.
The side lights pulled allot of bud towards them & theyre packing on down low near the back wall.

been using green clean.it is supposed to be safe even in flower.it also kills spider mites at stronger dosage.been using once a week with an atomizier spraying the plants.just chopped three plants in the last 2 weeks and no pm any where.averaged a little over 9 zips per plant.been adding an extra light between the plants for the last two to three weeks every time now.

Just finished transplanting from 6" Potts to 3's to start getting ready for next run. These were only treated w/ Plant Dr. Once when they first came out the cloner a lil over a month ago so I'm hoping they work it out of them through veg.
6, GG#4, 1, KKK, 1, Flo mini. image.jpgimage.jpgAll pre-lolli-popped n pruned. Took allot of big leaves off. Got some nice cuts.
