My all T5 closet grow, 2nd grow

Sorry have been busy so no pics yet. Have not even had time to get the next grow going. Here is a smoke report on the NYD though. Smell is very strong and slightly lemony, smooth smoke with great taste just like a Diesel sound be. Strong high. I have found a few very small under developed seeds in the NYD which is weird because I show no signs of hermi on any of the plants. Not a big deal to me since they are small and very few. I ended up with 37 grams of NYD. The Agent Orange turned out ok it has a pine cleaner smell and a good high but nothing great, not big on the pine smell myself. The Banana Kush turned out like crap not just for me but others that I gave clones to as well, smells like piney dirt, light airy buds even though some where large and was leafy. I have not smoked any yet and no weigh in yet.
 
Well I got the next grow started. 6 new clones, GDP, Gods Gift(I think) and I cant remember the last strain LOL, need to ask again what the other one is. I put up panda reflective material on the wall and floors of the grow space and will be building a rack to put the plants on, have a drain tray for run off water, mount the lights from and SCROG the plants. I am also adding a 48" T8 dual bulb panel and some true 100w CFLs. The clones are going under my 2 36" T5 panels right now, there will be no stretchy plants this time. Stay tuned for more updates all all those pics I have promised.

your going to try some kinda vertical w t5s?
 
No just making a rack to get the plants up off the floor, mount the lights to and easier to work on and empty drain trays of standing water.
 
intenseneal, have you ever used VHO t5's? I just started using them and they are fantastic. Just wondering what you think of them. I have a 8 lamp one that produces 157000 lumens that I used start to finish with great results.
 
woody, they are not air cooled, they don't need it . You can grow to within inches of the bulbs, they run that cool. I just use a fan to disperse the heat from the ballasts, which isn't a lot. I use 2 colors of lamps, one for grow and another for bloom. These fixtures cost about $ 350, plus $100 for 8 red lamps ( the blues are included). They kick the shit out of LED's, which I have also. Great fixture. I love it. I just finished six 4' Ultimates that gave me 3.5 oz each under it, and they were mint. Peace

is it a bad boy style fixture or a box like a sunblaze..........i swear the ones i seen when i looked at em were a cooled hood.....its been a few years...........i dont ever hear about them around here i would like to know more
 
Woody, I have the Sunblaze 48 VHO 8 lamp fixture which measures 2x4. Each bulb is 95 watts and comes in 6500 with the fixture, and I got 3000k for flower. Initial lumens are 57600, which is more than a 1000 watt HID. I used 8 - 3 gal pots with fit perfectly under it. I hang it on pullys and can adjust to height easily For a low heat fixtue you cannot beat it. It is super for small areas, which I have. If you are getting a new fixture, seriously consider this. They ain't your old t5 HO fixtures. They kick ass.
 
I am using HO T5 for the most part, have not seen any VHO T5 fixtures, I have seen VHO T12 though and they are banging lights.

Looks honorable I'm feeling the lights on all sides. What strains you got going on? And how long are you gonna veg till you filp em?
 
God's Gift and I think it was King's Kush. Not going to Veg for very long, 2 maybe 3 weeks. I did end up starting a new thread.
