Here are my pics of my all HO T5 closet grow. Plants are about 5-6 week into veg and I am ready to flower all I need is flowering bulbs and a way to vent and filter the grow space. Growing in FFOF and Happy Frog soil with ahrdly any veg nutes since I would get burn with even a 1ml feeding, so only being feed CaMg+, sweetener and Bio Root. I learned a lot from my first grow and I can see it in my plants for sure. Now for some pics of a very full closet. 8 plants (too many I know) strains are NYD, Agent Organe, Banana Kush, Blue Dream and Pandora's Box.

Looks good. Very healthy. Think height may be an issue since they add another half of their size during flower? Or are you gonna train them down?

I don't believe so no. Would have to get the light close to bottom. A screen will make everything the same height then it will all grow through the screen at the same pace.

Yeah I know they will grow a bit more once I flower, the lights can be raised or lowered as needed. No t5 does not penetrate as well as HPS but I have the side lighting to help out with that. I am looking into a 400w HPS light since I want to swap out my 24" light for another 36" and need to buy flowering bulbs, the cost of all that will be just about as much as a HPS light but I will need to ralk with my wife about that first and convince her. I still need to trim up the lower parts of the plants so they dont grow buds down low so yeah need to train them a bit more so I only get buds on the tops. But I may just see what the T5s will do I have seen some nice grows with T5. I have 300 watts of HO T5 in the closet. Stretching was no an issue I have kept the lights right at the tops of the plants. In fact 2 plants have grown up into the bulbs and I need to move them up a few inches again. They do look like thay are stretching but that is because I stopped topping them about 2 weeks ago so the top growth is straight up and no branching. I am still learning how to trim and train my plants. SCROG may be very useful if I stick with the T5 lighting, but it is a little late for that now I think. .

I just hope I get s decent yeild. My las grow was 30 grams from 3 plants. Doing some things for increased yield I just hope not having HPS does not hold me back much. Some of the lower growth will be trimmed off tonight or tomorrow.

Nice! Plants look excellent if a little unruly! I'd say they are prime for a scrog. Get them all the same level then you can get those T5's nice and close to the budsites to improve your yield.
Think of getting some T5 lighting to back up my CFL's here. Can you have them touching the bare bulb and not get burnt leaves?

Yeah for a little while the leaves can touch after a day or 2 the leaves will start to show signs of heat stress, HPS would just burn the crap out of them.

Well I have been busy so not as much has been done as I would have liked. I did trim up 4 of my 8 plants making 6 more clones I really need to trim and train sooner but still learning here. I had no idea how large and bushy my plants had gotten until I pulled them out, 8 plants is way to much in this space so next time it will be 4 plants with better training to make the most use of the lighting. I ordered a 2nd 36" HO T5 light to replace the smaller 24" and I ordered 4 pink flowering bulbs I may get 2-4 3000K bulbs as well and have a nice balanced mix.

Got my light in just waiting on the bulbs then the switch to 12/12 will start. I am going to DIY a carbon filter for the grow space. More pics to come.

Pet store like Petsmart most likely or Bulkreefsupply.com. I will use either the largest filter carbon I can find or carbon pads. I will be using an old car performance air filter that all the filter media as come out of filled with the carbon for my filter, saw it on a thread on here somewhere.
Got the bulbs in today so I hope to get the new light in and bulbs swapped out. I still need to find a place for my clones though.

Ok so this round of ladies has seen their 12 hours of dark in their lives, the flower cycle starts. I have the 2 156 watt lights hung over the plants and the smaller 96 watt light is hung on the side for some side and threw lighting. Long with the 24 watt and 21 watt lights on the walls I hope that I have good coverage. I put the plastic covers back on the lights so the plants wont get burned when the grow up to the lights. I just need to do my fan and carbon filter. Pics later today. Merry Xmas.

hey nice looking grow you got going there. I have a question about the t5 lights. Are T5s the best florescent light to use using a 2ft tube? Sorry I am new at this so please bare with me.

Quite the bunch o' peeps you go their. Have you considered culling the heard? Even with some late game training it'll be hard to really manage all those plants into your space I suspect.
Are they all fem? I can't remember reading if so or not.
Were your lights far from your plants at any point?

Keep up the work, I'll stay interested. How short can you get these T5 bulbs?

Yeah I have too many in the space only going to do 4 next time. All female clones. At the beginning of veg I had the light at least a foot away from the plants so that may have caused the to stretch some. I will be trying to train the plant on the next grow to better suit my setup. I did a large trimming a week before going into flower, cant really tell any more lol. The shortest HO T5 bulbs I have seen are the 24 watt 24 inch bulbs.
