Mushroom found in plant

I just found a fucking mushroom in my plant... wtf is wrong here? Is my stuff ruined? What do i do?

No its not ruined. Just reach into the dirt and pull it out as deep as possible in one piece. Dispose of it in the trash. Don't break it up or crumble it as it might spread more spores.

u might but a anti fugual spray for the soil

dig out the mycelium if it has penetrated your growing medium

Maybe just re-pot it in new soil so its sterile as much as u can get it. Don't want to disturb the roots and have a shroom hoggin the nutes lol

If the mushroom is still very young, pouring water is the first step. Most mushrooms will die if they come in direct contact with water (as opposed to their love for high humidity).

That's just an alternative. I'd also scoop it up after it's been weakened by the water and thrown out to the trash. Then, as a last resort, I'd get a fungal spray, spray the surface of the medium (do not overdo it!) and then water it, so the fungicide is carried by the water in the medium.

Buy a fungicide that kills soil fungus and fungus that has come in contact with plants (from a plant store or something like that) since normal household fungicides are toxic to plants.

i didnt get a chance to read all your messages before i took action.. i just scooped it out and scooped a thin layer of the top soil off...

but first of all its commom sense, if there is a mushroom or somekind of parasite growing you pick it out, and if it is killing your plant or wont go away then that simply means transplant your little girls to some better and cleaner soil (results are not promised), or find something that will kill the mushroom without hurting the nutes in the soil or hurting the plant. (

Leave it any hope it's a magic mushroom wouldn't want that to go to waste X)
