murcury vapor help

Can you use a MH bulb in a mercury vapor ballast? if not, do they make a conversion bulb that will work? Theres a building getting torn down by my house, and the foreman told me I could have the light. Cheap solution, but its a murcury vapor, I believe 150 - 175 watts. Anything I could do to make it work? If nothing will work, could I at least replace the ballast and keep the reflector and mogul socket????

I know that my 400w M59 Ballast will run both Metal Halide and Mercury Vapor, check your ballast for a number like the one I mentioned and then check which one the bulb runs on. If it matches then you're in business.
Even if it dosnt work out the reflector/mogul socket should be pretty universal.
