hey there brother im subbed up for this one we're on the same schedule here and im also growing 2 blue cheese plants! haha. im 12/12 from seed as well my friend, day 25 (correlates to the day of the month) and also growing in coco. im using 50/50 coco and perlite w/ all canna coco nutes. im only under a 250w but it looks like my girls are kickin ass over yours! LOL. based on that day 24 update you have up. friendly competition of course but i was unsure about how my plants are measuring up to average so im happy to see im looking good. my grow is in my signature if you care to check it out.
but no offense at all man. your shit is looking great. and i also know your trying out some new things here. i cant wait to see how everything turns out for the both of us! im glad to have you on the same day as me running 12/12 this will be nice to compare. keep us updated!

I checked it out looking real nice!! my days since sprout also correlates the day of the month, I attribute the slower growth to heat.. ive been having troubles keeping the temps below 80 and i know growth slows down after 80 degrees, im looking at getting a bigger fan and also a cool tube or cool sun reflector. also im about to do an update on my blue cheese its got some black leaves and spotting and i dont know whats causing it. The white widow is looking nice and its already got a bit of a pungent smell to it. the ww and the big bomb have both showed sex but the blue cheese hasn't and im thinking its because of these problems. The white widow in the coco isnt looking too hot either i bought some magnesium today so i will start supplementing the water with it

Ok so the white widow and big bomb are both looking nice and showing sex (females of course 
) but the blue cheese hasnt popped out any hairs yet so i got to looking nice and close at it and on some of the bottom leaves im noticing some dark discolouring as well as some lighter spots here are some pics if anyone knows what it could be pleease let me know

Cool another 12/12 grower like me.Im 34 days in now bagseed and OG kush.Og is reverting to veg and bagseed been flowering for 5 days now good luck!

Nope this is my first grow ever lol but i have seen some very impressive nirvana white widow grows so i feel fairly confident about the strain and do you have a grow journal going? that would make 4 of us doing 12/12fs around the same time frame. Thanks for the good luck and you too!

So besides the blue cheese issues ^ everything is looking good here tomorrow is feeding day, i posted those pics in plant problems so hopefully ill have some answers for tomorrow then ill know if i need to feed a bit more or a bit less or if its not nute related at all. yeah man my blue cheese is doing similar things like spotting and discoloration and i not sure as to why. im not digging these BF blue cheese genetics at the moment. as i mentioned in my other reply to you in the other post i know of someone else with the same seeds getting the same issues. along with problems putting on weight during budding as well. my blue cheese hasnt shown sex fully yet either although both grapefruits are doing extraordinarily well and have shown sex and both are giving off that, as you put it "pungent" odor. i love it. lol
also id like to say that i dont feel 100% coco was the way to go with your one WW seed. especially for a comparison to what medium you have going in those other pots. coco can get pretty compacted by its self and doesn't make for especially fast root development and initial growth. i find between 35-50% perlite and the rest coco is the way to go. loosens that medium to a density those roots can flourish in. especially w some root growth supplement like canna rhizo or similar solutions. possibly this could be a major contributor for your staggered growth is was im suggesting ..
but still, your looking great man cant wait to see more

I was just looking at another journal where the guy was doing an OG 18 AK-47 and a blue cheese. His blue cheese was the smallest out of the 3 plants and then a couple of weeks into flower it hermied on him so he pulled it but the other plants turned out beautiful. Looks like the genetics just arent there

Yeah i was thinking that when I transplant into my final 3g pot i will mix some perlite in with the coco but that white widow is also 6 days behind the others since the first seed in the coco didnt start and yeah i know that i should have some special coco nutes but i was just comparing the 2 mediums with what i had. I originally only planned on doing the 3 plants then i figured why not try one in coco and run it just like its in my normal medium maybe it will blow up! but so far its not looking like it will but hey if i get something off it it was worth the experiment

yeah i got it going and im adding more seeds and clones every 1-4 weeks.Got 2 big girls,3 Og clones,7 bagseed clones a 12 day old seedling and i planted 26 more seeds 2 days ago from different bagseed strains (all mids)

wow good find man. but damn not good news at all : / ..more reassurance the genes on these blue cheese seeds coming from BF are pretty ass at the moment.
im glad im getting rid of mine now. haha. its an easy choice between the 2 BC plants and my grapefruit ladies for sure. but hey man i really need some advice on something check my grow journal i asked you a question on there.. whenever u get a chance.

yeah i forgot you had a dud and you had to replant the WW seed. 6 days apart you say? yeah that changes alot. but for sure man, i would definitely recommend you mix in some perlite when you re-pot to the 3gal (interesting because my girls are going in 2gal's. cant wait to compare the stature of our plants). even just 25% if you dont like alot of drainage. i ran 3 experiments using different ratios and i like 50% for optimal root growth. anything more and i need to water twice a day and i just dont like it because its hard to maintain manually, and later stages of life it will be almost impossible for me to water 3 times a day if they needed it. i water everyday WITH nutes using 50/50 coco and perlite. i push as hard as i can w the nutes by the way. i check drainage daily and feed more PPM's (of canna a and canna b) immediately if they accept the previous value. between doing that and using 50/50 coco/perlite is why my growth is so explosive. i HIGHLY recommend the canna line btw. very very effective and easy to use. wonderful in coco. the GH line you use is amazing but will build up salts like crazy in the coco. are you aware of this? are you flushing often? i would say every 2 weeks to be sure (its easy anyway in coco to flush). but those nutes are meant more so to dissolve in a reservoir of water and can easily lockup in the coco when the feeding schedule picks up. this canna line is primo stuff though. and not expensive either. i love it its very strong and easy to apply, not a million bottles of shit. lol. jsut the a+b and the rhizo (root juice) .. then in flower you add the boost and the PK 13/14.
but this is just my humble advice brother i dont mean to sound like im lecturing you or anything. im just sharing my experience im sure your well educated and aware of what your doing. i just like put stuff out there because you never know what people already know and dont know? ya know?

I grew 3 blue cheese a couple of grows ago and wasn't at all impressed with the yield, I had 2 different phenos the first was the densesed bud I have ever known, and the other was looser buds but much more flavour and nicer I thought. Only pulled about 1oz of each

Looks like everyone has the same thing to say about the blue cheese which is too bad.
And yeah I've heard about the salt build ups from GH and my first scheduled flush is this weekend I think I'm going to start pushing more nutes as well since the plants dont seem to be showing any sign of being over fed and are on the small side for their age.
As far as canna if I was restocking that is most likely what I would buy but since I have lots of GH I'll keep using it for a bit maybe even try out Lucas formula even though I already bought the floragrow

but yeah ive heard good of lucas formula as well. heard that stuff rocks actually. im really into this canna line though man.. still gotta see how it performs on its own during flower of course. but im really digging it so far and based on the results ive seen in other journals. and hell yeah keep using that GH if u still got alot of it. thats stuffs amazing. if it were me though (out of paranoia) i would be flushing every 10 days as much as i feed my plants. lol
