Hello Guys! As I grow in Thailand I simply can't find Sphagnum Peat Moss, but did find another recipe that uses coco coir in it's place, I can though find ph neutral regular peat moss here so figured I'd go with that, and remove some of the calcium in place of Langbeinite....

However I also can't find Langbeinite here! So I wondered, would a suitable replacement be Epsom salt, and 1 chemical in my whole mix... Potassium Sulfate.

The original recipe:
Build a soil/ coots mix COCO VERSION

Base mix:

1 part coco
1 part compost/castings
1 part aeration (pumice, ricehulls, perlite etc…)

Nutrients:

Per cubic foot of base mix add:
1/2 cup neem seed meal
1/2 cup crab meal or crustacean meal
1/2 cup Kelp

Minerals:

Per cubic foot of base mix add:
1 cup sul-po-mag (aka langbenite)
1 cup Gypsum
2 cups Basalt rock dust

(BTW, this is the same as the Build a soil recipe for peat, except the peat recipe uses oyster shell flour instead langbenite.)

It could work, i aint pro but you definitely need some sort of compost. Coco doesnt provide nutrition at all
