Trump has been scream-tweeting this since before he fired comey. Yelling how the fbi is filled with clinton supporters, which is why she wasn't indicted; ignore the fact that the whole press release and report from comey, not to mention his statement days before the election that new evidence had been located, was completely unprecedented and against fbi policy (they don't EVER release investigation details when no charges are being filed).
And now EVERY member of muehlers team is a trump hating D. Not so much. Prosecutors and investigators, as a breed, are waaaay more conservative than the public at large, and are much more likely to be R than D. Many won't even register to vote. They don't want their political views to become issues.
But with trump, either you have sworn fidelity to him or you are agin him. And of course the echo chamber picks this up immediately and amplifies the message through fox, infowars, talk radio, and facebook attacks.
Just look at the purges of civil servants now running rampant. The cabinet agencies are employing outside firms to look at the allegiances of employees. People fingered by them get forced out. They can't be fired, but their lives can be made a living hell.
These are all disgusting habits. They should be grounds for impeachment on their own. But we have a complicit congress. And NOTHING will happen to slow it down, let alone stop it. At least not until a D wins the white house, then it will HAVE to be stopped.
