mother in DWC

just transfered my mother into a dwc 5 gallon bucket..now my understanding is that u should barely have the roots dangeling in the wateri filled the bucket up about 3 gallons...theres about an inch between my netpot and the water..and i have a airpump blowin some bubbles in there for me...im usin house and garden line of nutes..the mother was on my ebb and flow tray and shes 4 weeks into veg...so from now on im just gonna keep slowly ampin up the veg nutes week by week..then when she lookreaddy im gonna take my clones and reveg..does this sound right???im new to dwc ..i jus wanna make sure i dont drown my plant...thanx for the input dudes keep blazin:peace:

I keep my water about half an inch off the net pots.
The roots are suppose grow into the water and eventually be fully submerged.
You want to use a good airstone like the micropore air diffusers that makes small bubbles.
Otherwise sounds good.
