Motarebel seeds thread

Please show and tell, I'm not running any at the moment but feel free to post what you are.
Just wondering, I used to be tight with Motarebel back in the days of Overgrow. He gifted me a lot of seeds, dude was a class act and good friend. Is Motarebel still around and growing/breeding? I've kind of been out of touch for several years thanks to the state not appreciating my hobby.

His seeds are still available and there are still new gear drops, so I would assume so. Good to hear he's a stand up guy tho!

Yes he sure is, I'm looking to get some of his genetics soon. There's a dispensary in the Flint area that carries his packs. Also a friend has some of his clones that he sold at the rooster tail this last summer. I'm in the process of foreclosure so I have my setup at a friends house who is a card holder. I was hoping to see some grows of his gear by others here. and like Polo said, glad your free!

Once I get settled in a new permanent home I plan on doing some more breeding. I have a few mother plants that I'm keeping for breeding but I also have about 200 strains that I purchased from all over that I haven't even got to.
Mothers are:
Girl scout cookies - forum cut
Bio-Diesel - said to be from Denver Relief, not sure on this but the quality of finished product looked very promising
Critical Jack Herer - Dinafem
Fat Purple - Fat Marty
Gorilla Glue #4 - picked up from the cannabis cup from a member here Gladstoned from Medicated Acres
Cali Orange Bud - Dutch Passion
Blue Berry - Dutch Passion

I'm looking forward to getting Mota's genetics to breed with the above

I have some Luther Dogman (ole school Sensi Star x Chem) just starting flowering- they stunk in veg, cant imagine what they will smell like when done. First time trying some Moto for me, nice to try out some other US breeders.

He's definitely still around, saw him post on seed release @ the zon.
I've got a few of his MackTrail mix starting (Sfv / Triangle kush x Sensi) started. Good to see old Sensi is being worked, that stuff will knock you the f@$k out

Just checked out the website. It's very interesting to me that there is no trace of any herijuana, or crosses - which is, to my [unfortunate] knowledge, what gained Mota notoriety.

I see a lot of people on here bashing herijuana, but the only time I smoked some a couple years back I remember it was pretty up to par for top shelf, is it a growing problem or something? Because I've never seen non-growers have anything but glowing praise for it. I mean, Jason King can't be the only person on the planet to like it.

Not sure, maybe if he shows up at the Rooster tail this year I can ask. I have had good and bad of it. Guess it depends on how it's grown and cured. I just finished some GG#4 in soil and ebb an flow and the ebb quality is ten fold better.

i've grown sannies heri, and it was good smoke imvho.. it had a very odd smell / flavor, that was very hard for me to put a finger on, but i rather enjoyed it personally..

if it's anything like the chem 4 i just got done growing, holy hell, you're in for a stinky, stinky, stinky, stinky, treat.. hands down, one of the smelliest strains i've grown..
have i said it stinks yet?? :D
it was also probably my all time fave smoke to date, ecsd x chem 4..

some where around the time og went down mota got busted, did some time. when he got out he worked with woodhorse some more and then got with sannie, then moved to his big time own company. i think it was last year he let his top breeder take over and he retired. he shows up over at sannie`s board from time to time. hows that for a quick auto biography.;-) your right he did alot for the community as whole. you got access to some stuff you coundn`t get anywhere else, some great some not so good.

Here's the sales pitch for herijuana that sannie pitched for years:

"Top strain for medical users and blowers that are looking for that extra punch which they havent find in the past years. This smoke can be to strong for some blowers !"

I can't imagine that even a novice could have trouble toking it.

I ran sannies heri [which he says came from mota], and his crosses Extrema and Mad Scientist. I also ran mota/woodhorse ronny james dio [ heri x rocky mtn high], heriberry, and herijuana x williams wonder. Only the last one had better than B potency. All the rest were pawned off almost immediately. Lots of wasted time, other than the lesson on chasing 'hype'.

It's probably his breeder then who was at the Rooster Tail last year ( a local show in Detroit) that my friend had the honor of talking to and buying some of his genetics, I wasn't able to attend because I was in Aruba and the Dominican Republic scoring seeds while on vacation :D
Hoping to make it this year as there was a lot of good vendors there.
