I might do that to a little, but I have far too much bud to do it to all. My plan is to dust every day, maybe twice a day, with the leaf blower, then rinse the plants with a misting head on a water wand just before harvest.
More fires more smoke filled days.

Thanks! I ended up using 3% hydrogen peroxide at a rate of 1 cup peroxide to 5gals of water. I soaked the branch and agitated occasionally for 3 mins or so. Then shake it off and do the same in the second bucket of water only, then shake it off and do a quick bath in the 3rd bucket of water. The first bucket got very dirty, second bucket had some debris but not much dirt and the 3rd bucket was pretty clean. Im sure a few loose trichs are falling off during the process but with all the junk falling off too im ok with it. The water smells similar to making cold water hash but when the bud is dried off it looks about the same as the one on the plant so I don't think much is being lost during the process

Yep I'm going with the 3% H202 as well. Do you think the 3rd bucket of water is necessary? I can probably find some sort of bowl or bucket to use I guess.

I would say it is much better to use it. On the first night I used 2 small containers on one premature top. On day two I used three 17 gal containers I got for $5.00 each at Walmart on a decent sized paint that didn't make it all the way thru. The third bucket had clear water but enough debris that I would say it is worth the extra step. I ripped off most of the big water leaves by hand and then dunked the branches and fingers all the water off. It's going to be a pain in the ass this year to do the few other plants I have but I think it will be worth it. I feel like removing the ash from the bud will make it less likely to smell and taste like 2020. I keep getting nervous ill open a jar in 6 months and have it smell like a wet campfire log. Gonna be pressing soon on the plant that didn't make it, and the couple of premature buds I took down should be able to burn in a few days. Hopefully neither one taste bad and ill know it will be worth the extra effort this year. So far it seems that it is worth it

I would advise steering clear of the H2O2 as I’ve heard bad things about using it. It seems like people use that if they have rot issues, but if your using plant material that is otherwise fine, it’s better to use the lemon juice and baking soda method.
Thanks ill give it a try! Maybe I'll do side by side and see if there is a noticeable difference

I've read the opposite.....Lemon juice can leave more of a taste on your buds from what I've heard.

From what I understand the peroxide or lemon juice both kill spores. Thats also why the buds are able to be soaking wet and not have any problems is because all the spores have been killed and they can't grow back while the bud is drying . I feel like its important to have one or the other in there for that reason, and in my case I can honestly say I don't know if there is any mold or mildew on there. There aren't any signs of trouble but you never know so I figure ill keep adding something to the water to play it safe

Ok that makes sense. I've never heard of this being done but am seriously considering it this year as the smoke is pretty bad in my location.
