More fires more smoke filled days.

Get out if they tell you to. With these winds the fires are out of control. Stay up on the news if your're in a fire zone and please stay safe. Property can be replaced. Lives cannot.

"Nearly all of the state’s half dozen or so biggest fires are zero percent contained, due primarily to hot heavy winds, said Doug Grafe, chief of fire protection at the Oregon Department of Forestry.

“Everyone must be on high alert,” given the hot, dry, windy conditions, the governor said. “The next several days are going to be extremely difficult.”

“Our No. 1 priority right now is saving lives,” she said. “If you are asked to evacuate, do so immediately.”

My wifes Aunt lives along HW 26 not far from Zig Zag she and her husband were ordered out. >:(

My daughter is up there at her moms ready to give birth. That fire was kinda close but didn’t get em. Right now they’re sitting without power still as I am down here.
But shit bro. I’m not even trippin on my outdoor lol.
We started packing shit up at around 3:30am this morning. We’re still under an evacuation warning, but we thought for sure I was gonna burn down again, but the wind died down and looking allot better. This Bear fire grew and moved hella fast almost like the camp fire :-(
i got one of my crops ready to take down indoor, around 22-24lbs. Now that will fucking kill me leaving indoor behind like I did for the camp fire.
best of luck brother, we'll get thru this one way or another..hugs

I live in the North Bay Area of San Francisco as a number of other people of Roll It Up do and as for me, I’m getting sick and tired of all this freaking smoke. When the hell is it going to stop? Now there’s another fire in El Dorado hills due to now get this, a gender reveal party. Even though my plant is looking good I cannot help but wonder how good it might have been without all these weeks of smoke-filled sky’s.
No kidding huh!! I was blowing ashes off my bush this morning. This was taken about a week ago. She's in her 3rd week of flowering. And then I find all this ash on her leaves this morning. What a pisser man.

Out here in Nor Cal and the poor air quality and raining ash have returned....really considering washing my buds this year to get all the ash off. Never done it before though.

Bud washing is a MUST if you ask me. Who knows what’s in that ash! Lots of people have had great success with it, so I don’t see the downside

Yeah, I’m sold on the idea. Because like you said, “Who knows what’s in that ash!” I’ve never done it before but then again this is only my second grow.

Geez... I would have thought for a person who should or could have a master's degree in how much you know on the history of the US you could have read and understood that I suggested you take your views and opinions to the political section.

Im worried about a smoke smell sticking to the flower. Its been terrible and nonstop where we live. Im going to try washing a branch or two early just to see what comes out and make sure I don't ruin anything on harvest day. I don't think that would eliminate a smoke smell but it would knock all the ash and debris out of it. Im a big fan of Rosin and already plan to squish most of this year's crop. Hope it doesn't have any bad taste stick to it

I tried one last night im sold. I was surprised how nasty the water was after only 1 bud. It smelled a lot better once it was washed and this morning it smells the way it normally does. Even my rinse bowl had a bunch of ash settling at the bottom defiantly don't want that in my Rosin

So I guess washing the bud is the way to go. One bud did all that dirty water?

It sure did. I was amazed it looks and smells great this morning. I have 1 plant that did not make it but can probably I can probably get something out of the press so washed the whole thing today. I used three 17 gal buckets I got from Walmart this morning. I had to change the water, couldn't even see the bottom of the bucket halfway through the process. Feeling a lot better about the upcoming harvest now

I’ve been looking hard in the news for any arrests of any one affiliated with Antifa or BLM from Washington, Oregon and California there’s nothing out there to suggest any one from these entities had anything to do with any fires.
I saw mention of a person being arrested in one of the fires that went through Phoenix, the news said he is a homeless person.

I just went outside to water some plants and the air is just nasty. Air quality rating of hazardous. Yet the neighbors kids are bouncing away on their trampoline. I just shook my head and came back inside. Some parents...
