Mold or Fungus on Coco Surface

HOW DO I GET RID OF THE FUNGUS!!! AND IS THERE A PREVENTATIVE MEASURE I CAN TAKE TO NOT GET IT? Thank you so much to anyone that can help me!!

It sounds like the coco is staying pretty wet eh? IF so then I'd experiment with watering less frequently and see how far your plants can go before they start to wilt. Water them really well then wait and watch. It might take a day it might take several days but eventually the plant will start to droop a bit. I subtract a day and that's how often I water for a while. By letting things dry a bit more you let air back into the top of the roots (the root crown) which is a good thing. I might also suggest switching to hydroton (expanded clay) it dries out a little quicker and allows more frequent waterings. The coco in my experience is a real sponge and wet = fungus eventually,...gnats too. Good Luck! Happy Gardening! GrowIT!
