I have been using black strap and love it, I just start with clones and go almost straight in to flowering, start off with 1 tablespoon and worked up to 2 per gallon and make sure you really shake the heck out of your mix.

That stuff loves to stick to the bottom of the jugs, now I go straight water for the last 2 weeks to flush everything out

I from my readings it help with taste, and growth

Do not spray on the leaves and do not spray after 3rd week of flowering
